Synopsis

After solving the incident of the scattered Jewel Seeds, Nanoha Takamachi happily returns to her everyday life, though now with added magic practice in the morning. Exchanging video messages with Fate Testarossa and the crew of the Arthra, Nanoha eagerly awaits the chance to speak with them in person again. But while studying in her room one day, Raising Heart suddenly calls out to Nanoha and warns her of an incoming attack!

The attacker is a young girl named Vita, who calls herself a Belka Knight. She proves her strength by using an intelligent device with a mysterious cartridge system to quickly overwhelm Nanoha. Luckily, the Space-Time Administration Bureau is able to step in before she is completely crushed. Vita and her fellow knights Shamal, Signum, and Zafila are on a mission to steal magical power from mages in order to complete the Book of Darkness, one of the Lost Logia. For what sinister purpose are the knights after this Book of Darkness?

Lyrical Nanoha A's is quite a mixed bag. On the one hand, some of its themes may be inappropriate or traumatic, while on the other hand, it's arguably one of the best magical girl series I've seen thus far that blends drama and action naturally without getting bogged down. By that I mean that Nanoha A's doesn't get edgy or forget about its action as some other shows may, and instead finds a way to balance both; the way they typically achieve this is by rotating the episodes very subtly, one focusing on drama and the next on a battle, which works surprisingly well at ...

After the first season I wondered where they would go with the plot, if they'd do another monster of the week formula or try for something more serialized. The latter it turns out. This season tells a complete and cohesive story arc, which is something I always appreciate from a show with multiple seasons, especially one adapting an already existing work. A lot of shows will end prematurely, break up story arcs between seasons or go on forever with no conclusion, so it's refreshing when you get an ending at all.

I liked the introduction of new characters to fill the role that the blonde one ...

After watching an liking a lot of the first Lyrical Nanoha, I had lots of expectations for this sequel... but unfortunately I've got disappointed.

The first one had an extremely interesting story about Fate Testarossa and her mother, but in this one it's about Hayate and the book of darkness, it has a little of self sacrifice, but its very forced and farfetched.

Basically the story is about Hayate, a girl in wheelchair, that has a book, and suddenly the powers of the book awaken bringing several mages with it.

The visuals and sound are ok.

But overall, it didn't convinced me.
