Even though it might not look it at first both anime are kind of similiar. Both have strong-willed heroines with no physical strength, even though Shuurei is much more clever in my opinion. Both heroines have no clue whatsoever about love. Both turn out to be more than the cliche reverse harem and include political intrigue as well as some action and adventure. Both series show some unexpected plot twists. Both offer a great deal more quality than the Angelique/Hanasakeru series (thank god <.<). Both are reverse harem.

Both have a girl as the main character that are forced to accept a cruel world and must deal with politics and their own feelings in order to achive their goals and meet everyone's expectations. The action in Akatsuki no Yona takes place in the past and the main character doesn't really have to pick up a guy, while the action in Hanasakeru Seishounen takes place in the present and the main character must choose the guy she loves the most. The most probably guy to be chosen in both animes has a great personality.

Both are harem, one girl and bishounen guys. Another think that is similar is the wealth part (only Haruhi wasn't rich). But the difference is that Ouran is more lighter than Hanasakeru Seishounen.

In a lot of ways, these two long shoujo series are perfect for a very specific audience, and quite dull to the rest of the anime fandom. Shoujo fans that eat up soap opera-esque drama will fall in love with both of these series. Non-fans, however, will probably not get past more than a few episodes of either. Both are reverse harems (and never pretend not to be; it's obvious that most of the bishies surrounding the heroine are interested in her) but also include a complicated plotline. They're both very dramatic, often reaching melodrama territory, in all aspects, from story to characters to relationships. Finally,  read more

Both are interesting shojo stories with strong, interesting female leads that are cool and inteligent

Shoujo romance anime..female lead with multiple love interests..

reverse harem, however hana yori dango is more of a relaxing comedy show, while hanasakeru seishounen is more of a serious and motivated anime. also hana yori dango is based more on slice of life while hanasakeru seishounen is more leaneant on the political side. both animes are decent so if you like one of them i definitely recommend the other

Both reverse harem, with the main female having something special about her that attracts other people.

The strong character of the heroine character and hard, cold and the lovers are intelligent ... Similarly, as with "Special A":)

Similarities: Strong female lead, Reverse Harem, Reverse Harem (more so in Hanasakeru Sieshounen), Drama, Some Comedy Differences: Itazura na Kiss' settings are in high school middle class while Hanasakeru Seishounen is set in upper class political influenced by historical happenings.

At first glance these anime have no similarity. But now that I have finished Guin Saga I found myself reminded of Hanasekeru Seishounen quite often. Both have policital and romance elements as well as action and adventure, also both are well written stories that keep your attention. I couldn't stop watching either until I had reached the end and both left me satisfied. If you enjoyed Guin Saga you will likely enjoy Hanasakeru as well but be aware it will take a few episodes of Hana to start seeing what an amazing anime it is. It's one of those plots that whisks you away in a  read more

A girl has to choose between guys she loves. In Peach Girl, there are two guys. In Hanasakeru Seishounen, there are four.

Hanasakeru Seishounen (HsS) is actually adapted from a fairly old Shoujo manga. The Rose of Versailles (RoV) is an older classic of the same genre. While the former is set in modern times, it involves royal political struggles and revolution of a fictional country. This is obviously similar to French revolution, the main setting of RoV. The main characters in both shows are strong-willed and charismatic females (Kajika in HsS and Oscar in RoV) destined to play important roles in their respective eras. In addition, the developments of romance bear some similarity in how the MCs learn about their true love. RoV is more of an epic  read more

Both series have a funny outgoing main characters who affects people all around her in a positive way.

it is similar because they both have romance, harem, and hanasakeru seishounen has a bit of historical genre in it. The story both have lot of cute, handsome boys liking one girl( but at the start the boys have no interest in, until the girl melt there heart and start loving her).

The characters in these 2 are similar, the stories are totally different

In both anime the main character is a girl who defends the people dear to her and there are guys around her that will fall in love with her 'cos she is special... and both girls has some kinda power but in different ways ^^

In both the series the MC is surrounded by bishies who care about them and want to protect them. Both the MCs are head strong and stubborn, when they decide on doing something they won't back down no matter what. Li Leng is very similar to Conrad and both even have the same seiyuu. The difference is that kyo kara maoh mainly focuses on comedy while hanasakeru seishounen is more of romance, another would be that the MC in KKM is male and the one in HS is female.

the female character has a friend that she sees as a brother (in HR) or as a rival (in SA) however the friend has very strong feeling for the girl, and doesnt like being the brother/rival both males are the heads of the company are always busy, but when it comes to the girl, they throw work aside and pay all attention to her, or atleast try to the girls are pretty dense and they always butt into everyone's business and most of the people in the shows are of high class

Both anime have a no-nonsense, beautiful, stoic female MC with red hair coming from a rich family that has guys fighting over her but she's still the most badass of them all. Both female MCs have been sheltered in their childhood by their parental figure because one of their parents was killed. Kajika from Hanasakeru was even put on a mostly isolated island for her protection. Both anime have some sort of political intrigue/power struggle, Raise wa has yakuza politics and Hanasakeru has upperclass and even Middle Eastern royalty politics.

Both series have many bishounens (so in a sense they're both reverse harem). Vampire Knight is darker and Hanasakeru Seishounen is... lighter I guess?

They both have high class relations. They just swicth the protangonist male/female

Both series are reverse harem anime. Main female characters Kajika and Angelique share same seiyū.

Both are romance anime but there is also drama as well. There are many types of relationships and characters development. Some lighthearted moment that will make you love the characters. If you like Hanasakeru Seishounen, you should try watching NANA and vice versa.

The original story line for both of these shows were written by the same magnaka, and while the plots are completely different (one takes place in the future on a different world and the other takes place in the present in a different country), you'll find similar charismatic tendencies in both of the main leads.

Harukanaru Toki no Naka de ~Hachiyou Shou~, like Hanasakeru Seishounen, revolves around one female lead character that is surrounded by bishounen (it's a reverse-harem, after all). The characters feel similar in both personality and physical characteristics; however, there is more bishounen, adventure, and story plot in Harukanaru Toki no Naka de ~Hachiyou Shou~ and more romance in Hanasakeru Seishounen.
report Recommended by Chidashi
Both animes deal with women who change other people's lives in the midst of politically fueled situations. They don't have too much in else in common (the female character in Hanasakeru Seishounen is much more likable but she doesn't go through so much psychological maturation). Hanasakeru Seishounen is a GREAT series and I highly recommend it especially if you liked 12 kingdoms! XD

Main heroine, Nike, reminds me of Kajika, both strong headed and stubborn yet charming in their own way. They changes the people around them. Both anime has rulers/princes/princesses.
report Recommended by chichikun
Though the plot are different, it reminds me of the MCs. Alice L. Malvin reminds me the main character of Hanasakeru, Kajika Burnsworth. Both of them are non-stereotyped characters which are easily loved by audience. Their minds are strong and they are straightforward.

They both have the same feel, but Nijuu Mensou has more action and mystery
