Synopsis

Throughout his youth, unskilled healer Laust was taken advantage of by unscrupulous adventurers. Despite intensive efforts to improve himself, Laust is swindled by the members of Blades of Lightning—the first party that he joins after completing his training—and is eventually banished by its leader Margulus.

As the subject of public ridicule, Laust is not hopeful about his future prospects. However, novice adventurer Narsena unexpectedly offers to form a party with him, and he happily accepts. The duo quickly gain fame by conquering uncharted parts of the labyrinth. While there seems to be a reason behind Narsena's hasty proposal, Laust is oblivious to what it could be.

Meanwhile, Margulus fails for the second time to slay a poisonous hydra, even after enlisting the help of elite healer Lyra for the quest. Laust soon finds himself being asked to rejoin Blades of Lightning, but it is not as easy as he imagined to move on from his former comrades-in-arms despite his new path and current companion.

Preliminary (8/12 eps)
Currently there are like 6 people not recommending this show and 0 people recommending it. So, I have bestowed myself the duty of recommending it.

Quick review: Standard cartoon. Sometimes boring. Sometimes dumb. But it has some unique charm, like in the setting design and the 2-dimensional developments between the characters. I like blue haired girl, she is a cute martial artist lady, and the MC is alright. If you are alright with low expectations, enjoy a fantasy show that could've been made in the 2000s.

As far as I can tell, 'Objectively,' this show doesn't have good animation nor is it amazing in ...

Mixed Feelings
After watching all 12 episodes, I can safely say this fantasy anime is another generic bland serving in the ever growing menu of "The MC is the strongest and no one knows about it, so gets booted from his party".

Although definitely not the worst of this type of show and definitely not the worst fantasy anime I've watched (which gives it some points), it saddles the line of mediocrity, with the only standouts being the varied cast and the MC's "secret", while the clearly low-budget animation and lack of any real depth bring it back down.

The story follows "Incompetent Raust", an adventurer who can ...

"The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party, Is, in Fact, the Strongest" starts off promising but quickly derails, becoming a trainwreck by the final episodes. While the character designs are average yet charming and the art style passable, poor pacing and storytelling make the show feel rushed and unsatisfying.

Laust, despite being labeled the strongest, feels like an afterthought. He barely contributes meaningfully to the story, only acting when Narusena is in danger. His lack of development and relevance makes his role feel forced.

The show tries to cram in every anime cliché, often rushing through the plot without coherence. Animation quality dips drastically in the ...
