Ecchi, fights and beautiful female ayakashi.

The artwork is very similar to each other, and the atmosphere resembles it's counterpart a lot.

These shows are similar in that they both are about a spirit befriending a young guy, and there adventure together trying to stop an evil/unleashed force. The only difference I have seen so far is the main male protagonist in this series is far less lewd and is more trying to help then get his own "harem"

The theme of the incarnation of a goddess plays the lead heroine in both of these two anime(s). Although both stories take place in different settings, there are similarities involving the interactions between the main protagonist and heroine involving comedy, drama, and later romance. Both series also contain fantasy themes.

shuffle its a Comedy, Drama, Ecchi, Harem, Psychological, Romance, School Life, Science Fiction, Seinen, Supernatural, Tragedy but it is very similar only difference is that shuffle is more epic than this anime i reccomend that you watch shuffle very good anime

Lead Character reminds me of maromaro ;), and falls in love with a guy. There is always another girl who likes him and is jealous and of course wishes that the main character would leave. They both fall in love but with a sad ending. Almost like Tayutama.

when a shrine gets destroyed a deity/god gets thrown in to a human like body and ends up staying with a guy. as you could expect things dont goes easy for the guy his childhood friend gets jealous and a relationship starts to form between him and the deity/god thats more than that of just friends

Both are about Fox spirits who forcefully make their way into the male protagonist life. The only difference is that Kanokon has many more (hard) ecchi scenes. While Tayutama is has more (soft) ecchi or doesn't even has any.

Both female protagonist is a Goddess and both male protagonist is helping and protecting the female protagonist. Both anime are drama, action and romance.

Both contain cute wolf deities... They look quite similar too...

Both anime feature the romance genre. The story of the two are relatively similar, even though Hanbun may not have the magic element to it. Both anime started with a strong story which evolved into a moderately bittersweet ending. Good if you like 'touching' type endings. Those who have watched one are encouraged to watch the other.

These anime have a similar feeling to it. Both are harem and romance. And a few characters are really alike.

I Don't know why no one else made this recommendation . Am I the only one who thinks these two look very similiar ? Well anyway . Both have Supernatural/Action/Romance theme mainly. Both don't have deep story , short 12 episodes. Similar good looking graphics. Main powerful girl falls in love with main character and helps him get stronger. Love triangles , in both there is a childhood friend who also in love with main character. -And also gets involved with story mainly.(Not the right words I know ,tried not to give any spoilers ) ----- I mean come on , especially last two things I said ,these two animes  read more

only the plot is similar guy "destined to be" with this girl because of his predecessors main goal between the two is coexistence KomD male likes bikes, E7 male likes boards and LFOs (mechas) KomD is more spiritual E7 is more scifi

In Both the animes, a magical girl appears suddenly before the hero...and ends up asking the hero to join her in the fight...against Spirits in Tayutama and in Sekirei he is the Ashikabi... and both have multiple heroines(though Sekirei has a whole load of girls)...

Both main characters are both fox deities and both contain extreme ecchi content. If you liked either one of these anime Odds are you will enjoy the other.

Harem, comedy, similar drawing style. I really dunno why, but when I think of Astarotte, I immediately imagine Tayutama.

same romance style, also involves a love triangule, contains a mix of supernatural, in tayutama its demons and shoujo girls in gift its a magical rainbow over the city that grants people wishes

Jealousy, fighting bad things, basically the same plot set-up.

This is a recommendation for those who are looking for other anime with a similar feel rather than mark by mark comparisons. Air is packed with less action (which is pretty much only in the summer specials), no harem, and no triangles. Instead, you will be treated to more supernatural occurrences, intense drama, and a similar bond that has lasted through time. Curious? Give Air a try.
