Similar in realistic view of rescue forces. Both placed in Japan. Both having struggle in background of stunning rescue stories.

If you like firefighter anime I suggest Megumi no Daigo and Enen no Shouboutai which are very similar.

Both series focus on the day-to-day lives of characters in emergency services, Se see them in action allot, but also plenty of down time at the station or off the clock. Really helps to emphasize that emergency responders are people to, just like you and me.

If you like anime with real life or feel like watching one, these two series are surprisingly similar. In Uchuu Kyoudai it's about space exploration and in Meguni no Daigo it's about firefighting. In both series problems get often solved with real life engineering. Both series have similar character relations and the storytelling itself feels really familiar. The artstyle and orange suits, I thought I couldn't find any similar series to Uchuu Kyodai but Megumi indeed is one of the closest I have seen.

Both are series centered around disaster rescue, and take inspiration from the real life Hyper Rescue. While the obvious difference is that Drive Head utilizes giant robots, like Daigo, it emphasizes the human element of rescue to be the most important. Both shows just have a similar vibe.
