very similar enviroment and stories. Humanity vs monters, post apocaliptoc world , a group o friends operatings machines to fight. 86 is more serious, military vibe where humans divided into nobles and "outcasts", is not so lighthearted.

A desolate, monster-ravaged setting where humanity is forced into living in isolated pockets of civilisation in the form of bubble-like cities is something both of these series have in common. Despite this visibly apocalyptic scenario, neither series is exceedingly hopeless in presentation, with Synduality and Chrome-Shelled Regios each balancing out their eventful plots with intermittent slice-of-life episodes and humour.

Both character have to take care of girl that needs help to dressup

In both anime there are fights between Mecha VS monsters, Sometimes there are also fights between humans, One of the things that changes is that Synduality Noir is more comedy than Muv-Luv Alternative

main girl is calm and reserved but serves as a catalyst for the MC's power. Both are mecha anime where the MC lacks confidence but with the help of the "girl" they both somehow become uber powerful.

Synduality is very similar to Planetarian in terms of background as well as the fact that both heroines are robots/AI that help the main character.
