Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-hen

For centuries, the Demon Slayer Corps has sacredly kept the location of Swordsmith Village a secret. As the village of the greatest forgers, it provides Demon Slayers with the finest weapons, which allow them to fight night-crawling fiends and ensure the safety of humans. After his sword was chipped and deemed useless, Tanjirou Kamado, along with his precious little sister Nezuko, is escorted to the village to receive a new one.

Meanwhile, the death of an Upper Rank Demon disturbs the idle order in the demon world. As Tanjirou becomes acquainted with Mist Hashira Muichirou Tokitou and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji, ferocious powers creep from the shadows and threaten to shatter the Demon Slayers' greatest line of defense.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc


Please understand me, I like Demon Slayer. No matter how clichéd, stupid, and embarrassing the anime can be, I like it for that very simplicity. And the naturally shockingly good animations are just the cherry on top of the already appetising cake.

It has to be said anyway, this season was just bad, there's nothing more to say. The pacing was sluggish, practically nothing happened. The whole season was just one big training arc with an Indian film at the end. Nothing happened in the whole season except screentime for irrelevant side characters that ... can't have any meaning in the upcoming season, and development for the water Hashira.

They should have either squeezed the season into 2 episodes or made a montage out of it, like they made 6 damn episodes out of Rocky going jogging.

I liked the last 2 episodes, the rest can be skipped completely once Giyu's flashback is done. Otherwise the season has no relevance whatsoever.

Only Recommended for Demon Slayer Fans like me, otherwise DONT touch it.

Mixed Feelings

If I hadn't seen it until the last episode, I'd give it a 7-8, but what a shitty story about Muzan, but anyway

The entire Arc is shown in a beautiful way, despite not having as strong an addition to the story as other seasons, a little more of the world is shown, and the way it is done, with Tanjiro giving value to blacksmiths, with the Do we see two more Hashiras together, an extremely strong enemy, a kind of half-demon? It's all done in a really cool and dynamic way, the story lacks a bit of relevance, because like, we're in the middle of ... a fight and it shows character flashbacks that are cool to see, but we don't care about it at the time, like, just fight, and the Hashira of Love story, seriously, that's bullshit 'who would marry you, look at the color of your hair' NOBODY CARES ABOUT THAT IN REAL LIFE, who wrote that script? It's not possible, the creator didn't write this when he was 12 years old, there isn't a person in the world who wouldn't think it's cool to have naturally pink hair.

Anyway, let's go to the end, first we discover that the Oni were created BECAUSE OF A MEDICINE, seriously? I still imagine they'll explain it better in the future, but if that's all, this is the worst creation story I've ever seen, and on top of that, we discover that Muzan simply has no story, he's like 'look at me, I'm bad, I kill people, I'm really bad, I want to stay in the sun, but being bad is like what a rubbish story he has, he has no reason to do what he does,

I dot't understand the hype around Demon Slayer anymore. The only positive I have to share is the animation style except for the "3D parts". The fighting scenes are colorful and really cool to look at. So far the good parts and now I will start ranting.

Story: so predictable... ofc the highlevel demons are "difficult" to defeat and OFC at the brink of the heroes death, they suddenly get a sobbing flashback then awakening and then lastly an energy burst. Suddenly their broken bodies are not so broken.... sounds familiar? Yes it was like the previous seasons.

I don't feel like we learned anything new ... or groundbreaking this arc. They're just a bunch of vampires, looking for a cure. I feel like the cure is going the be something cliche like "love"

The most annoying part is Mitsuri's screaming and oversexualisation. Still don't understand why I keep watching it, eventhough it's not even top tier anime.
