Synopsis

Yoichi Karasuma has spent all of his life in the mountains, training in the Soaring Wind, Divine Wind swordsmanship style. Under his father’s guidance, he is able to master the technique at the age of 17. With nothing left to learn, Yoichi is sent to a new dojo located in the city so he can continue to train and gain an understanding of modern society.

Unfortunately, Yoichi has no idea how to act or speak to anyone in the present day and acts like a samurai, complete with odd speech and traditional clothing. As he goes to live with the Ikaruga sisters at the dojo, Yoichi, clueless on how to interact with others, is constantly hurtled in hilarious misunderstandings. Asu no Yoichi! follows Yoichi as he stumbles through his new life and tries to learn how to live in the modern world with his new family.

Before watching this anime I thought to myself, "This is probably one of those harems ecchi shows where a lot of girls fall for the same guy." Well it was almost that.

Instead of a lot of girls there was only two, Ibuki Ikaruga and Ayame Ikaruga. They fall in love with Yoichi Karasuma. But unlike many harems this anime has a credible storyline. Unknowingly Ibuki has a fiance. After many years he has finally come to wed his belowed. That's basically the jist of it. Yoichi and the girls try to overcome obstacles and challenges that are thrown at them.

AIC is known for creating ...

Mixed Feelings
Asu no Yoichi is a mediocre anime that lacks a lot to be good so don't watch it but if you want to, go ahead read what you're getting into.

Story
It's a Harem/Ecchi anime so you shouldn't expect anything special from this, the story is about Yoichi an overpowered samurai (but that makes sense because he spent his whole life training to be the best samurai), a samurai that wants to expand his knowledge on other abilities that he doesn't know so his father sends him to a Dojo that specializes in the same ability (really?), he wants to see if they can teach him something ...

Story: Mountain bumpkin, Yoichi Karasuma ,moves into the city and has to adjust. First couple of episodes were actually fun and enjoyable, but after that, this show just got significantly worse. Even though the story sounds unique it's just your generic ecchi harem anime and that's what makes it suck. I say this because it had potential based of the premise, but decided to just pull the same harem crap we were oversaturated with in the early 2000s. It's a show that could have been cool, but changed its mind immediately. Now this show could of course remained being a harem if it so desired, ...
