Asu no Yoichi!

The most obvious connection between the two is that the series are harem, but the important part lies in the fact they are wacky harem, harem that are way out there and will have the viewer laughing their head. Of course, when I say that they are way out there and will have the viewer laughing I don't mean because the series are bad, but more of that the humor is crackfic type of humor that tends to appeal to a certain audience like myself, yet if someone liked the humor in one they'll likely enjoy the other series. 

I think you'll find the characters and situation to be VERY similar, so unless you have some sort of pathological fear of something in one anime or the other, you should enjoy both. 

Both have harem, both have the same kind of ecchi situations and both Yoichi and Keitaro sometimes "fly" after kick by girl ;P 

Both of these series involve a dense, perverted, and slow (typical harem lead) male that goes to live in a place full of girls. In both series, all of the girls start to like the male lead for various reasons but can't bring themselves to admit their feelings.... very typical harms on both accounts. 

Both feature a male who is more or less forced into a situation where he is living with a number of very different girls. The characters in both have virtually the same personality types, as both series's feature: - A level headed, fairly pleasant male who's your typical tsundere victum - A bossy, violent 'head of the household', obvious love interest girl - A grumpy girl who's involved in a love triangle with the above - A mischevious, creative girl (one in 'Yoichi', two in 'Hina') - A 'cute' little moe girl (these two are virtually idenitical) Ecchi related misunderstandings and fanserivce are of the plenty in, aswell as girl on boy violence.  read more 

As I progress watching Love Hina more and more, I can only think how similar these two anime series are! It even has the same types of characters. Only difference is that Love Hina has some supernatural stuff (other than kendo/samurai being able to manipulate the air with their Chi/sword or whatever).

If by some stroke of fate you actually liked Asu no Yoichi, specifically the comedic portions, then you'll also enjoy Bamboo Blade. 

Both very funny and have to do somewhat with samurai. Asu no Yoichi is more focused on a boy surrounded by girls rather than focused on girls. 

Deals with Samurai and martial arts related topics, along with a host of cute girls. 

Asu no Yoichi is a spiritual successor to Ranma's "Martial Arts Comedy Romance" genre. There's a family dojo with sisters, the main characters practice a martial art, and there's lots of accidental falling in cleavage moments. 

Both shows are comical, and include a male protagonist who have been segregated from society due to their training and everything that they experience in the city is new to them. Not to mention both of them are freeloading from a girl, both male protagonist are very strong but allow themselves to be beaten up by a specific girl.(usually the girl they like) Both male and female protagonist like each other but can't admit it.  

Fighter-guy has to go live at a dojo with a girl dedicated to fighting, as well as her sisters who don't care so much for violence. Funny situations ensue, using a lot of the same jokes, etc. 

Basically the same orientation: Martial arts, freeloading at dojo and entourage of bishojou. 

The protagonist in asu no yoichi is the same with hyakka ryouran deals in action , swordsmanship and a bit martial arts. The Asu no yoichi is funnier than hyakka ryouran and both contains ecchi parts on it. 

-both are harem and romance genres -both shows have samurai in the them -both male MCs are powerful/have a unique ability 

1.both animes contain following genres: romance , comedy , harem , ecchi. 2.story is kinda similar both of main male in those anime , getting their life totaly changed and surrounded with harem. 2.1 After Teppei's parents die, he is getting support from his grandfather and start to live in luxus and study in prestige school. 2.2. Yoichi leaves mountains and heading to his fathers old friend in his doujo in order to gain more skills in martial arts. 3.main male characters got similar temper. 4.Happy end in both of them.  

Both on the surface look like typical harems mixed with ecchi,but it's suprinsgly much different than that, because both series have alot of unexpected action.Both have a main Charcther is a skilled swordsman and is suddenly introduced into a new environment which he must adapt to.Both main heroines are very powerful(In Asu no Yoichi! in strength, while in Princess Lover! in status).There are many more similarities,as in events and the antagonists,but I don't want to accidentally write any spoilers. 

both male protagonist grew up in an unusual environment and both female protagonist always beats the male protagonist . . . i like full metal panic though, its because of the humor 

Both have a badass fighter forced to go to high school who completely overreacts to everything and seems to always leave a trail of bodies, a blue-haired tsundere love interest who beats the crap out of said fighter, lots of "accidental pervert" situations, large amounts of slapstick comedy,and the list can keep going on and on. 

Love triangles, people scared to confess, and people ignorant of people's feelings are main points in both shows. Asu no Yoichi is a little more ecch, i but nothing too extreme. Ayame=Eri Washizu=Harima 

In both series, a delinquent character softens up and changes upon falling in love with a female character that is in love with a different guy. Both of these male characters desperately want to confess their feelings for the female character but different people and events keep getting in the way 

Asu no Yoichi! is a short running, harem, action comedy, whilst Kenshin is long running epic tale following a serious plot (with the odd comic moments). The basic elements, stuff you'll notice in each episode from the start, are the same: - traveling samurai deos the odd few freelance rescues - teenage girl, who's somewhat of a fighter living in a dojo, takes a shin to him - he moves in with this girl; becoming her underling as she's head of the house - dispite the fact that he's the all powerful hero, he always falls victum to tsundere tantrums 

They are both about an extremely skilled swordsman staying at a dojo that is taught by a young female. Kenshin and Yoichi both: -Wield a blade that doesn´t kill -Are extremely powerful -Are very honest swordsman -Are both very clumsy which leads to funny situations There are even some similities with their "rivals", Sanosuke and Wassan. They both: -Are fist fighters -Used to be "criminals" -Are very proud and confident in their abilities Yoichi is just kenshin in a modern era with a lighter story, more funny situations and kind of perverted. 

They both have a very similar feel. Both main characters seem out of place, Both are in training, Both of them are misunderstood. 

The main characters in the anime are very erect. They will get turned on if they see a little peak of the woman's parts and then eventually getting beat by the female support characters. These anime are both ecchi and harem that have fighting involving whether it is supernatural or martial arts.  

Do you want to laugh? You should give Asu no Yoichi! a try. It's a really good anime and similar to History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi. It's funny, it is about martial arts and it has ecchi scenes. Unfortunately, it's short and it's figt scenes aren't as epic as Kenichi's. 

Clans attack the main Charcther in hopes of reviving there clan,In Asu no Yoichi! the male MC takes care of it while in Sumomomo momomo the male MC is being protected by people of other clans.Both groups are constantly attacked by assassins and actually befriend a few,and both are harem-action-comedy with some Ecchi. 

The silliness and comedic factor surrounding characters with forces that seem out of control and new to them make them seem not so different from one another. 

A boy is suddenly put another world ( or what seems like Another world) and is told to live with ( or be the slave of) a girl. The boy is incredibly special in some way. Although ANY has the girl the guy falls for be very... Uh.... Booby. Both are very harem and incredibly hilarious. 

VERY similar to each other. Both have a Male lead very capable in combat, with their ladies who fall for them also capable of combat. Both series harem ladies fall head over hills for the guys, and both are completely clueless about it. Both even though they are naive, they are NOT push overs, and do not tolerate injustice done to people, especially their women.  

Romance, comdey, and action are what these anime's shout! If you're in the mood for a harem-anime with feisty heroines and strong but also comical heroes, then these anime's would certainly suit those craving and the opening songs are just so cute to boot!!! Two of the best anime harems I've ever seen. 

Although the plotline is somewhat different, one about an inexperienced samurai while the other is an inexperienced street fighter, however both are about improving their fighting skills and special powers. If you like more of a serious anime tenjou tenge would be a better choice if it's a comedy anime that you like, go for asu no yoichi!. But over all their quite similar, and also as a side note, both of them include ecchi
