When I watched this I had strong feeling of Dejavu. Both the main heroes' name are Ju nichi as well. The animation quality was nicely done for both as well. Although some different in character design the characters from Akane-Iro give an oddly familiar feeling to that of Da Capo's cast as well, especially Minato (*cough* Nemu *cough*).

cant belive this one wasnt there. sister brother type harem with lots of other characters. This one is full of emotion. Plus....aya hirano is the femal lead!!!. gotta watch. the ending is just sooo sooo goood!

Both titles have the same "sibiling love" theme in it , with more or less the same relationship development from the begining, right to the very end of the two shows.

Similar plot... A succubus girl who is afraid of men is forced to live with a boy. Many things in Akane-iro remind of Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun (especially the parents in Akane-iro and the brother/sister in G-sama N-kun)

These series have quite a few simularities. First of, there is the young male who lives with his younger sister. He ends up helping out a female and the next day meets her at school, only to find out that she has another side to her personality. There is also a color theme.

Toradora is in a way a MUCH better version of Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka. They both evolve around the main protagonist who has been listed as a delinquent (Ryuji in Toradora and Junichi in Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka) that meets a girl who is a hard headed mix of many different types of characters. Yuuhi Katagiri also reminds me a lot of Taiga, but toned down a bit.

The way these two shows start off with kissing the female lead due to tripping/misunderstanding is completely identical

both deal with forced marriage

Akane-iro ni Somaru and shuffle share many things in common there both revolved around a boy that must decide a girl from a huge harem. They are both funny, and dramatic all at the same time i guarantee if you like one you'll like the other.

The main character of one Anime has a fiance suddenly sprung on him and the main character of the other Anime has to find a fiance and marry her before the term ends. The idea of the fiance living with the guy before marriage is also there and they have similar art styles.

The frequency of Risque scenes are about the same (Akane has Pantsu Shots while School days has.... Eroge scenes). The Love Triangle Aspect is very similar in terms of how the characters deal with it. The Main Character and Supporting Characters in both animies have the same Personalities if put side by side

Both have some pretty incestuous scenes in them. Brother-Sister in Akane-iro and Cousin-Cousin in Elfen Lied. I'd think that the cousin-cousin one is your best shot if you've seen Arrested Development.

•both have the same character design in it •both contain a harem of school girls with 1 guy •both contain an average plot that is okay •both have different genres, but the comedic, school life is the same, •if you enjoyed one you will probably enjoy the other in the comedic school life sense

both have movie scenes in between that is different from anime. both have many females . both have Comedy, School, Harem genre.

Both anime are kinda of like a harem, yet it's mainly two girls who fall for the guy, while he just helps the rest of the girls. One of the main heroine leads is the main guy's responsible non-related-by-blood sister. Both anime are romance, comedy, and lots of drama.

Both have a sister loving bother love, but in Onii-chan Dakedo, the sister's feelings are more in action. The male protagonist of course is loved by others girls as well. They are both ecchi to a low extent and will make you laugh if you keep on watching. :)

Both protagonists have to understand their feelings and choose the girl they love actually.

- Transfer student - Live together with engaged people - Keeping secret about engagement - Siscon Different: - In Mikakunin the fiance is not human - In Mikakunin the boy came to the girl, but in Akaneiro the girl did

Both have romantic stories, and if you are a younger sibling (Siscon) maybe this anime can be a recommendation. Even though the Amagami SS had no siblings relationship, there were some that were out of bounds.

School life has a way of creeping up on someone and giving the unexpected twists and turns. Both of these Anime deal with school life and have a rather crisp style to them.
report Recommended by Yemi_Hikari
Both are romantic comedies with some addition of drama. Both protagonists are somehow not simple and have "special" parents. Both have Princess-type main heroines

it has a lot of romance and the pictures are both nice like in both stories. both were my top favs.

Depravity, madness, the human mind and flesh decaying and becoming nothing, a living hell, a life of sadness...

Yo. the relationship between the protagonist is the same [ultra spoiler theree] :< but it's too hard to explain w/o spoiling >w< anwaiz, AKANE is more harem/ecchi, whilst DA CAPO II SS is more romance/mystery-ish

same type of humore

The two both center around the love story of a boy. Towards the end of both, their plots become quite similar.

both female heroines (yuuhu katagiri and naru narusegawa) have learned to love the males (junichi nagase and keitaro urashima) despite an animosity in the beginning
report Recommended by mrpogi91
both are school anime and have 7 heroines plus karen is a perfect counterpart of eri sawachika

they are similar in many different ways especially the imouto(younger sister). They are adopted and they share incest relationship to each other.... the difference is that in Akasaka, there is a fiancee and in Onii-chan no Koto is that there is a childhood friend
