The frequency of Risque scenes are about the same (Akane has Pantsu Shots while School days has.... Eroge scenes). The Love Triangle Aspect is very similar in terms of how the characters deal with it. The Main Character and Supporting Characters in both animies have the same Personalities if put side by side
Both start with the main (Geno Killer and Makoto) meeting with a girl (Yuuhi and Kotonoha) and after this, they date and the best friend/sister of main (Minato and Sekai) becomes the best friend of that girl. But during the show, all this grow into a triangle love with much drama and fights. Also, Characters are alike too.
