Synopsis

In Japan, there exists a government agency known as the Supernatural Disaster Countermeasures Division (SDCD), whose duty is to protect the citizens from creatures unseen. They are able to dispatch these monsters swiftly and without alerting the general public. But currently, they face a different challenge: the betrayal of one of their own.

After the death of her mother several years ago, Kagura Tsuchimiya has been fostered by the Isayama family and forms a close sister-like bond with their daughter Yomi. The two become inseparable, and together they work for the SDCD as highly skilled exorcists. However, as the stress and consequences of their sacred duty weigh on them both, and family politics come into play, Kagura and Yomi begin to slowly drift apart. One of them grows earnestly into her role as an exorcist, and the other heads down a dark path from which there may be no redemption.

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SMALL SPOILERS:
An anime that has very strong first two episodes, with a lot of action and in which, except for a general idea, one can find itself, lost. Despite this, it is a short anime that meets the expectations of a short anime, and even so, leaves a second season open if necessary.
The strong point of the anime is the construction of the characters, especially the two protagonists, and how their attitudes change, strengthening the relationship between them. Although several have pointed out that the central question that the anime addresses is: Can you kill someone you love? It is also ...

Mixed Feelings
Ga-Rei: Zero focuses on the turmoil that emerges when the city falls into the grip of supernatural creatures and the team of the most competent operatives in the frontlines of containment. At the height of their misfortune, a former ally disowns them, with a parallel development that weaves the story into the tapestry of classics such as Berserk and Gungrave, telling a tragic tale of lost friendship. However, the series aims at revenge-based tension, but it fails to reach the apex of such tales.

Right in the center of plot are Kagura Tsuchimiya and Yomi Isayama, who have their bond full of clichés and intertwined with ...

It may have been awesome anime in 2008 if you forget first 2 episodes.

It may have been a good anime in 2012.

But its close to TERRIBLE anime in 2016, just dies in comparison to similar titles. Though if you decide to watch it, WATCH IT TILL THE END. It gets slightly better with time.

ART: 5/10
Not necessary bad but seriously unoriginal. I feel that Ive seen every character somewhere else. And not similar ones, they seemed like clones. It gives somehow off feeling I have an issue to name it - at times you feel like every character is a main protagonist, or simply an important ...
