The same situational plot where random player gets trapped in some virtual game where it is run by some very mysterious entity , where the name of the game is to fight or die.

Death games are the game in both of these series, yet the main characters are both into gaming and that is how they end up drawn into the world around them. One is your typical death game while the other involves rounds, which is arguably a newer thing to series which fall under the Battle Royale trope.

Battle Game in 5 second Similar to Danganronpa, where characters are sent to different places and gathered in a room to be ordered to play a game of killing each other, especially there is one director who monitors and regulates the course of the game.

Another death game anime to fill your satisfaction towards the death game, or also known as battle royale centered anime. The characters here are forced to join the game with a price to get if they win, and death awaits if they lose the game. The characters are given some superpower abilities to help their journey surviving this death game they forcefully joined.

The main character ends up in a world where he/she needs to survive and not be killed. A mysterious organization has a goal that they want the participants to achieve. The difference is that in High-rise invasion, some people can get brain-washed by computer programs that control their mind but also enhance their abilities to fight and use weapons while in Battle in 5 seconds of meeting, the participants have unique supernatural powers they have acquired at the beginning of the battle royale game.

MC has a goal to kill other people. Everyone has some kind of superpower, except that in Munou na Nana the MC doesn't have any. Munou na Nana doesn't have nearly as much fighting as Deatte 5-byou de Battle, but they both have a lot of mind games.

* People with "special" abilities are participating in a tournament arc style environment. * Main characters in both series plan their actions ahead so the results are cool to see. So if you are looking for some tournament arc action, here you go.
