Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun

Fumiya Tomozaki is Japan's best player in the online game Attack Families, commonly known as "Tackfam." Despite holding such a revered title, a lack of social skills and amiability causes him to fall short in his everyday high school life. Failing to have any friends, he blames the convoluted mechanics and unfair rules of life, forcing him to give up and proclaim himself a bottom-tier character in this "game."

After a fateful meeting with another top-tier Tackfam player, Fumiya is shocked to discover the player's true identity—Aoi Hinami, a popular, smart, and sociable classmate who is the complete opposite of himself. Aoi, surprised at how inept Fumiya is at everything besides Tackfam, decides to assist him in succeeding in what she calls the greatest game of them all. Through the gruesome ordeals of social interactions and relationships, Fumiya begins to advance tiers in the glorious game of life.

Coming from the perspective of a casual watcher, not some harsh critic, this Anime is pretty decent. Not bad, but not spectacularly amazing.
The Anime has an interesting premise that I empathize with. If I am going to be honest, gamers will connect more with this Anime more than a lot of people because of Empathy. Empathy makes people watch certain things, which makes me watch this. I understood a lot of the terminology and references and I had a lot of "oh, I see" moments. The art, it's not amazing, but it is still good. The artists cared about their work in many of ... the scenes and did not slack much. Adding subtle hints of shading, sun glare, details that just enhance a normal scene to something better. The character development is mostly realistic, mostly followed what I did growing out of my shell into having a social life, but with different step order. The Anime was cringe to be honest, lots of cringe, but not cripplingly bad cringe that kept me grinning at the screen while watching the Anime. Very watchable Anime that keep your interest if you are going in with an open and understanding mindset, a mindset most casual viewers would probably have.
Overall, good watch, would give a 7.5, but there is none, so math rules suggest me to round it up to 8. The score was carried by my empathy ngl.

Mixed Feelings

The best way to describe this would be a diet soda version of "Welcome to the NHK", it's about a social outcast who one day meets a girl that wants to change him for the better. It's not a complete rip off though.

Tomozaki is a bitter person at the start who believes video games are his only friends and he never imagined that anyone in class could ever give a shit about him.

As he rises higher and higher in levels he gains more friends and more confidence, he starts to view the people close to him not always necessarily on bottom or top tiers and ... despite still staying a gamer, he goes beyond his initial bias and actually pushes forward to also have passions in the real world.

Overall it's really sweet...But...one big problem.

Hinami.

This character, this fucking character, is awful. She sucks so bad.

Her fake smile and public personality pissed me off everytime and her relationship with Tomozaki is complete bullshit that would never work if it wasn't for Tomozaki being so submissive and breedable.

She does get a few, very very few, good moments in the second half of the story, but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get into the friendship between her and Tomozaki. She's genuinely just not a very interesting character and while she pushed Tomozaki forward at the beginning, eventually I was wondering why the hell she was STILL pulling this shit.

Her ideas and demands on how Tomozaki would be happier did make sense, but eventually she just gets so goddamn annoying and begins feeling redundant once the other, much more enjoyable characters also begin helping out Tomozaki.

It's not a bad anime, but my enjoyment was in the negative anytime Hinami was onscreen.

its totally boring and the story can be discribed in 2 lines. It resolved around an idiotic loser and a arrogant girl. I don't understand how did it get a second season. There are many good anime even in romace comedy that i am waiting for s2. I totally wasted my time on this even poem is more resourseful than this shit.the story is too short and what can i say there isn't even romance .


the characters are just so so . story don't have any creativitly its plain. just by showing dressed up and some borig dates with girls and thats ... it
