Adachi to Shimamura gives me SUCH strong Bloom Into You Vibes. Similarities: - school (main) setting - drama shoujo-ai - figuring out relationship feelings with one another

Adachi to Shimamura is very much a refinement of a lot of the concepts from Denpa Onna with a better execution and a stronger focus in its subject manner. While a lot more grounded in reality (relatively at least), it manages to retain the same quirkiness for the peripheral cast while focusing its attention on the main couple.

Both of these are chock full of adorable shoujo-ai fluff -- if you want to overdose on it I hearily recommend both. Kase-san is about a relationship between two characters who are already girlfriends, while AdaShima is about the development of such a relationship between two friends. They also both share core themes of inexperience, first love, and general angst.

Similarities: - Both shoujo ai - Very slow burn - Relatively calm and slow paced Differences: - Because of how much was adapted from Adachi and Shimamura, there is extremely little romance between the two but Sweet Blue Flowers has on screen romance between females

both have Girl x girl relationship Although Adachi to Shimamura doesn't have as much supernatural elements as Urasekai Picnic it still has a bit Both have the same relationship dynamic between the two heroines

Essentially, both are shoujo-ai animes that pose the same setting, same atmosphere, same concept, same cheerful OSTs, and a good-enough quality animation. Every episode is enjoyable as it leaves an excellent satisfactory feelings of delightfulness, especially for those who sincerely like watching these kinds of stuff. Conclusively, Adachi to Shimamura is like the milder version of Sakura Trick that presents less kissing scenes yet can still introduce the same wholesome emotions and mood.

The two anime are two sides of the same coin, with Citrus being a story of a somewhat broken love, going as far as to break conventions, passing lines that said no one should be allowed to cross, compared to a more relaxed and sweet AdaShima love (more the growth to it) of two who meet and grow close with one another. Both stories are far apart in execution to the point where despite literal similarities, you are met with two entirely different shows, however, that method of presentation in the girls' love genre is still something to see both sides of. One of lust and  read more

- shoujo ai - beautiful animation - well use of soundtracks to emphasis psyches of the characters - smooth and comfy to watch

In some respects they can be different anime (one is a reciprocated romantic love and the other is about the discovery of love) also, one is more dramatic than the other. There are still some things that are similar, such as the way of transmitting the story, without rushing, directly enjoying what the characters feel. Attention, neither of these two animes I particularly liked, I gave both a note of 6, but I have to admit that they are similar.

Similarities are both is about girls love, space themes, main character who has hard time conveying her feelings to others

In both stories, the dialogue is very good. quite profound gradual progression It has not got a lot of fan services like other BL stories. It has a good, interesting presentation of love.

both tell about a love story between two girls

In this wild genre of yuri anime, countless mindless kissing and borderline sex (if you are cynical enough, you will believe it to be something of pandering bait), we have two contenders that take things slow and endeavour their way with interesting and wholesome content of two girls and their love for each other. It's something of a real human connection taking place, or at least, relative to ideas and themes present. Girls who are trying to go and chase their s/o or girls who are just trying to really keep their bond intact without the other forces intervening, whatever it is, it is conducted under  read more

Adachi to Shimamura is officially yuri, while Erika's Sailor Suited Akebi is nominally a yuri-bait (but such a big one they legit catch a fish with it in ep6...) AdaShima moves at a snail's pace, imitating its LN origins, while ErikAkebi is slightly hyper yet iyashikei at the same time. Both series take place in highschool slice-of-life settings, with variable doses of cringe, like sniffing and nail clipping. Both shows have a refined but anxious young lady who longs for her more hyper classmate, though in Adachi the lady is the sportsgirl, while in Akebi it's the other way. Both shows have really high-quality visuals indoors  read more

Adachi to Shimamura and Watashi no Yuri wa Oshigoto desu are Yuri anime. The feeling I get is a nostalgic one; a feeling of longing and melancholy. Watching these anime let me re-live the ideality of romantic scenarios, and to escape the realities/business of everyday life. Both AdaShima and Yuri wa Oshigoto are niche anime. And it happens that the niche they fall in are the same one. No other anime has made me feel the same way as AdaShima, until I watched Yuri wa Oshigoto.

Sweet yuri anime with similar themes such as realizing your own feelings.

Sweet. Sweeter than a cinnamon bun, AdaShima and Kimi ni Todoke both follow wholesome relationships that would make your heart flutter. Both anime star the same type of character with a lonely girl who through time, gets to know individuals better and becomes happier and life ventures on. Very sweet romance anime that is a top recommendation if I will.

Here be the love two females give to each other love. However, AdaShima is more wholesome and innocent than the deeply intimate Kuttsukiboshi's love.

This may feel like a stretch of a recommendation, though both PMMM and AdaShima follow two closed-off individuals trying their best for another who is ignorant of the true motives behind these mysterious girls. PMMM does this with transfer student Homura and the real mission she set for herself, AdaShima does this with the quiet Adachiand her true feelings for Shimamura. Both are good anime with PMMM and AdaShima being opposite sides of the same coin of what can be related back to love.
