"Ao-chan Can't Study!" is very similar to "Ane Log: Big Sister Moyako's Never-ending Monologue"
In that its about a girl who misinterprets everything the male protagonist does as being sexually motivated.

Ao Horie's father is an erotica writer, and a pervert. Ao-chan's name was even inspired by a perverted expression.
Ao-chan wants to distance herself from her father's life style as much as possible. So she overcompensates to the point where she avoids boys entirely.
However this is going to be a bit more difficult now since her classmate Takumi Kijima has confessed to her.

Now every time Kijima tries to talk or interact with her she has these ... monologues in her head and imagines all the sexually perverted things she's afraid of him doing to her.

I really love this setup. Like Moyako from Ane Log I find Ao-chan to be a very entertaining character. I just love the way these characters create these crazy scenarios in their heads. Its very funny and very adorable.

The anime is fun to watch, it has outrageous situations and that typical character who tries to be good but we all know that she is not a saint at all, she has more attitude than the popular guy who turns out to be a complete idiot with no experience whatsoever who lives off of appearances, in short the protagonist is a naughty girl who pretends to be a saint and has a past of bullying because of her father, the story revolves almost entirely around the protagonists and with small appearances from her father, the assistant and a friend but apart from that there ... is no development of other characters, the anime gives a certain expectation but in the end it does not deliver everything and the little that it does deliver the story drags on to deliver what makes it at a certain point a bit tiring to watch but it guarantees itself in comedy, if you have some free time or are looking for something quick to watch this anime is a good option

Alright the only reason I'm going to extend the review of these horrid thing considered an anime is the fact that MyAnimeList won't let me do a short review so let's break down, shall we.

story was outright trash man, I bet you 100% dragon ball Z has a better plot and most of us weebs by now, know that dragon ball Z is more fighting than story. The art was okay, more colourful in terms of its pallete. Music was eh, not the best but hey I didn't mind the opening. Characters were just, well I honestly don't know, all throughout this so called ... anime, I couldn't less about any of the characters. Enjoyment, didn't exist whilst watching.

Overall, look do your thing, watch it, get it over and done with.
