"Ao-chan Can't Study!" is very similar to "Ane Log: Big Sister Moyako's Never-ending Monologue"
In that its about a girl who misinterprets everything the male protagonist does as being sexually motivated.
Ao Horie's father is an erotica writer, and a pervert. Ao-chan's name was even inspired by a perverted expression.
Ao-chan wants to distance herself from her father's life style as much as possible. So she overcompensates to the point where she avoids boys entirely.
However this is going to be a bit more difficult now since her classmate Takumi Kijima has confessed to her.
Now every time Kijima tries to talk or interact with her she has these
...
monologues in her head and imagines all the sexually perverted things she's afraid of him doing to her.
I really love this setup. Like Moyako from Ane Log I find Ao-chan to be a very entertaining character. I just love the way these characters create these crazy scenarios in their heads. Its very funny and very adorable.

Keima Katsuragi aka the legendary "God of Conquest" can conquer the heart of any girl...in a video game.
Through circumstances he is called upon by the demon world to capture loose souls now residing in girls' hearts.
But just because Keima can charm any girl in a video game doesn't mean these skills will be useful when it comes to charming girls in the real world....Well actually it can. Keima is actually a very charming young man when he sets his mind to it. And just isn't interested in real-world girls by choice. He is just as skillful in real life as he is in game.
I like
...
how Keima is written. Im glad they didn't make him some dumb cliche desperate loser otaku with no charm. He is a person who is actually smart, and competent for the job even though he agreed to it by accident. A good case of you-shouldn't-judge-a-book-by-his-hobbies.
Elsie the demon girl is there to help him out (posing as his sister). She refers to him as "Divine One" or "Divine Brother" its great 😂
She's a bit of a goofball but not useless.
Its a good enough dynamic between the two. It works well.
Each conquest is basically a parody of an anime slice of life romance. You have a conquest involving a girl who wants to succeed at a sports competition. One involving a blond loli tsundere (my favorite). One involving a pop idol. Etc etc.
The moral of each is basically to have confidence and be yourself.

"Midori Days" aka Masturbation Joke The Anime.
His right hand becomes his girlfriend.
Seiji Sawamura is the toughest guy in school. He's so strong people say his right hand is that of a demon.
But although Seiji wins all his physical battles, the one battle he cant win is the battle of love.
As hard as he tries he cant get girls to be his girlfriend.
One day Seiji wakes up to find his hand is now a cute little girl Midori who has always had a crush on him.
So now Seiji has to try and live his days with a doll-sized girl for a hand.
He must try his
...
best to keep it a secret while at the same time still being targeted by the delinquents in town.
Its a cute and funny anime.
Unfortunately apart from hijinks not much of significance happens throughout the episodes.
The early and last episodes are great but alot of the middle episodes feel very fillery.
Its mostly Seiji trying to keep his hand a secret.
Midori is cute and has a fun personality.
Seiji isn't badly written but there are episodes where he's wayyy too oblivious.
For a guy who is desperately wanting a girlfriend not to see that a girl is interested in him after she took him underwear shopping, invites him to a movie, invites him to her home to eat, is just ridiculous.
But its a nice love story. Sweet ending.

Devilman is like "Chainsaw Man" or "Kaiju N.8" only Devilman is actually good...
Akira the crybaby is invited by his friend Ryou to a club of debauchery in order to investigate devil possessions.
Ryou believes that all the depravity and sin would be a great place for them to manifest, and he was right.
In a desperate bid to save his friend, Akira gets possessed by a powerful devil but maintains his human heart. Now with his new found power he can fight the devils entering the world through humans.
However this isn't some superhero story where a guy in cape shows up and saves the day.
...
Innocents will die.
The anime is an accurate representation of the human race. Inability to act smart in times of crisis. Unable to stand together against evil when we really need to. Hating each other for being different. Willing to sacrifice others out of fear.
It asks you what's really a monster. A monster is not determined by external appearances but by what's in your heart.
First thing you'll notice is the art style. Its a style that tends to be very rare in anime. I dont know what its called but I guess its a mix of traditional hand drawn with computer animation. With a lot of abstract and trippy designs. Helps it stand out.
The anime also has a sleezy side to it and im not complaining. Lots of sexual content.
If you like sex, drugs, and violence this anime is for you.
But be prepared to see good people die in horrible ways.

What could have been a dark badass story about a guy cursed with the sin gluttony, who devours the souls of the wicked to quell his hunger, instead spends alot of its time on some lame cringe-worthy "love story" between two very dull uninteresting characters.
In fact there are no interesting characters in this. People are either wayyyy too nice, or the bad guys are @ssholes just because we need a cliche group of characters who are jerks to the MC. Its really forced.
I was hoping this would be like The Seven Deadly Sins only good...but nope, its not. They both suck.
Plot: The main character Fate
...
Graphite is cursed with the useless skill of gluttony. Meaning he is always hungry. However turns out he isn't hungry for food, he is hungry for souls. One night he kills a criminal and absorbs his skills.
But now that Fate's skill of gluttony has been activated it cant stop. He needs to keep slaying foes to keep satisfying his hunger. If not his eyes will turn red and he will eventually go on a frenzy and kill indiscriminately until satisfied.
This is actually a great setup.
But instead the anime focuses on this boring romance with a Holy Knight (Lady Roxy) who's only personality is "i want to spread joy". Its just a boring surface level character like every other character in the anime. There is nothing deep about her, so you dont care.
Fate also happens to find an old talking sword in a bargain bin called "Greed"...wow what a contrived coincidence.
This anime doesn't do anything great. Fights are dull. The romance is dull. Characters are dull. Its not deep. Its not funny.
The second half of the season does get better. This is mainly because the two characters are off doing their own things and are separated for a while.
So if you can suffer through the first half you will be rewarded with something a bit better later on.
But not enough to save the anime.

Nageki no Bourei wa Intai shitai
Its kinda like the Eminence in Shadows if he wasn't over powered.
I am happy this anime doesn't have an unnecessary isekai setup. The MC is not from another world for no reason.
Krai despite not having any real talent for adventuring somehow came to be seen as the greatest adventurer of all time. Leader of the greatest team of adventurers Grieving Souls.
And as much as he tries to get out he gets pulled back in by those around him who sees him as something he's not.
I enjoy the setup.
Its a fun anime with fun characters. Especially the goudere Tino who sees
...
her master Krai as the greatest thing ever, and would do anything for his approval, and beat up anyone who'd speak badly of him.
She is designed for sex-appeal, not gonna lie, but her fun personality is what makes the character work.
There are only 3 episodes at the time of writing so this anime may go on to become great...or awful, who knows.
But I think it has a lot of potential, if it focuses on having fun with its setup.

This anime is the definition of lazy harem.
15 minutes in, the MC is assigned 12 maidens each representing a star sign.
And one of the MC's job is to impregnate them in order to make star children.
And of course the first one he has to make babies with is his cousin.
And this is just the first episode.
Conception is a dumb anime. With dumb characters. And a dumb plot.
It fails as a comedy. It fails as an ecchi.
Its not funny. Its not sexy.
Its PG-13 hentai. Aka an abomination.
...
There are too many characters and they are introduced too quickly, all at once.
This isn't an anime with any sense of a progressing narrative.
Its amazing how an anime thats all about sex...doesn't even actually have sex...
There isn't much to say about this anime because there is nothing to it. There is no substance.
All this anime does is exist. Nothing else.

(In/Spectre. Funny play on words. An inspector of spectres 🤔)
In/Spectre is a series of murder mysteries/ghost stories being investigated by a girl Kotoko chosen by the spirits to be their "god of wisdom" when she was about 10 yrs old.
One of her legs and one of her eyes had to be sacrificed for this ritual. So they had to be replaced with prosthetics.
She falls in love with an immortal young man Kuro who is feared by the spirits because he ate the flesh of spirits (yokai).
Kuro is not in love with her but she insists that he be her boyfriend. Their
...
relationship and interactions is actually the best part of the anime. Despite being horror it is also a comedy.
Its a dialogue heavy anime. Action is not really a focus.
Kotoko plays the role of a mediator for the spirits and helps find solutions to their problems.
If you want a funny horror mystery anime with a cute clingy child-like girl then this is for you.
If I had to give one criticism is that the last case over stays its welcome. It really drags on.
There really is only 2 cases. One minor case, and the second case which takes up 90% of the anime.
I was hoping for multiple different cases that took maybe about 3 episodes each. But the vast majority of the season focuses on this cosplay murderer. With a pretty weak motive.

"The 8th son? Are you kidding me?" is an anime about nothing.
I mean sure there is a "plot". There just isn't much of a story.
So its an isekai. A guy about to have dinner passes out and is reborn as a 5yr old noble boy.
He thinks he's the 3rd son of a wealthy house. But is actually the 8th son of poor illiterate nobles.
Due to circumstances he is discovered by a talented magician who sees his potential and wants to pass on his knowledge.
This is where the anime feels like it might end up being great. And that it was leading to
...
something fun afterwards.
But after his lessons are over he enrolls in a magic academy. And this is where you eventually realize that its an anime about nothing.
The main character doesn't do anything. Things just happen to him. Its very boring.
The main character is not leading the story. Its the story thats leading the main character and he's just a passenger along for the ride.
He inherits an estate and riches from his previous master. He gets arranged to marry a pretty girl...Its just some of the most dull things to sit through.
There are 3 other secondary main characters (2 girls and a boy). At first they also come off as being very interesting characters. But ultimately are just entourage to the celebrity main character.
The story doesn't let them contribute anything.
This is also another one of those isekai where the actual isekai subplot doesnt contribute to anything. The fact the mc is from another world is irrelevant.
The anime is not atrociously bad....its ATROCIOUCLY BORING!

Its a supernatural ecchi school harem.
Its like Bible Black without the fcking.
So in order to make up for that they shove tits and cameltoe in your face.
Breast sucking is a major part of the anime as its a source of magical power in this story.
With the amount of sexual content in this anime they may aswell have gone all out with the erotic scenes.
They even tease some box munching but never fully deliver. This is an Oppai Only anime.
It stars an emo pretty boy Aleksander (aka Sasha) who gets his power from sucking breasts (because of course he does).
And two
...
girls; the tough red head Mafuyu, and the gentle blue haired Tomo with large breasts and A+ quality breast milk.
The story and plot is nothing amazing.
You have one group of alchemists fighting another group of alchemists over a macguffin.
Each alchemist specializes in a certain chemical element such as iron, copper, chlorine, mercury, gold, carbon, oxygen, etc etc
The female characters, although not deep, aren't bad at all.
There is a two-faced mischievous lolita who provides the more interesting scenes in the anime. She's the best character.
The MC is a 13 year old breast feeding emo. Not much to say.
A scene can get pretty silly when you have a serious moment only for the MC to need to be breast fed before starting battle 🤣 Completely kills the badass tone.
The combat is also not that fun to watch.
This anime has 2 seasons (33 episodes total) and i have no idea why.
It drags on alot in some scenes with filler nonsense.
Long story short, this is not an anime you will watch for the plot, but for the milk pots.
Its not bad, its just meh,... but with tits.
By episode 6 i was too bored to continue.
