The main characters are reincarnated as a monster with video game like abilities in a different world or realm with lots of different life forms. They have memories of their previous life. They both level up.

If seeing cute characters doing absurd things and facing off against absurd enemies and triumphing is interesting to you, then both these animes would be enjoyable. The brutal and amoral (chaotic) nature of the world these anime are set in provides a somewhat niche enhancement to the immersion and investment into the anime and development of the MCs (Fran and Kumoko respectively)

The main character from both these series have very similar origins. They have their entire high school class isekai-ed to a medieval fantasy world. This new world uses your standard mmorpg-based ability and skill acquisition system. Another similarity being the main characters being thrown immediately into life or death situations deep down in a dungeon and having to grind to survive. Lastly, they both have the main character having different ideals/goals compared to some of the rest of the class.

MC is a Villain Isekai Theme MC not a Human

In both animes, the entire class gets transported into an unknown world. Both protagonist are shunned by their classmates and they started off their journey solo where they develop overpowered skills.

action-comedy type anime Main character is a girl. where more than one char. is transported to another world(in bofuri as a player) Isekai Genre. I love how they are overpowered and defend against players/characters. both have more skill than other characters when they are fighting is more thrilling. Kumo desu ga, Nani ka? is ongoing but I think they merge with comedy is unique and fun to watch. how character is careless sometimes but high serious while fighting.

it is an issekai anime which is very funny and has an interesting story

Both feature a main character with a slightly antisocial personality voiced by the same VA, who is transported to another world in which a god-like figure wants to watch them struggle against an unfair environment. Both characters are reincarnated into an undesirable form that turns out to have hidden growth potential that lets the main character become overpowered, and they both just want to live a peaceful and quiet life.

Kumo Desu ga and Log Horizon are two rare examples of isekai that use RPG/videogame mechanics as critical elements of their respective plots rather than as mere background for their characters' adventures. Both series explore and exploit those mechanics in depth and in similarly creative ways. Both are slow burn stories that can appear initially generic, but reveal their true colors and originality once they pick up steam after about 9 episodes. For that reason, the usual 3 episodes rule doesn't work well for either, especially since both series are at best average in the visual department, and thus lack an immediate visual hook for  read more

Like Sword Art online the main character is isekai`d into another world That works like an RPG game with skills and a level system. One of the key differences with so I'm a spider so what is that the main character is Reincarnated into an entirely different species and faces situations with high-stakes unlike sword online.

Both are based on theme of getting transferred into isekai with a whole class. Both main chracters have to struggle alone from start and both have their goals that are different from the rest of the class. Though when Hitoribocchi is rather light production, Kumo desu ga tends to be more serious and "intense". In Kumo desu ga we have also explanation of being isekaied when in Hitoribocchi this thread isn't actually developed and it doesn't matter. In general Kumo desu ga is more engaging and it isn't light comedy like Hitoribocchi

These two involves dungeon exploring where the main plot is to level up and get stronger with a constant amount of brutal and survival action with RPG mechanics and does not offer much in terms of plot.

These two features a small living being facing against big creatures with constant amounts of action, intense scenes and gore. taking place In an intriguing world by its own way,

In the storyline has similarities, such as the main character experiencing growth over time, getting different powers, besides having several subordinates. In addition, the character has memories after reincarnation to be non-human.

Both are the 'shoujo' mc that got reincarnated to another world. However, the anime have different genre . They have same personality trait and have same goals to survive in the another world in their own way. The both world appeared to be in game world.

Similarities - Both MCs are reincarnated into a fantasy world - Both MCs have overpowered abilities (OPMC) - Both MCs still have their past memories Differences - MC in kumo desu ga is a spider vs MC in Strongest Sage is a human - MC in kumo desu ga is a female vs MC in Strongest Sage is a male

Kumoko and Myne are very similar as characters. They both have literal physical challenges and disadvantages to overcome, and use optimism, strategy, and willpower to adapt to and thrive in their new situations. Myne is sick with a serious illness, Kumoko is now a spider. Both characters are passionate and fun to watch with strong character-motivations. These anime are also both fantasy Isekai where Kumoko and Myne have magic. Honzuki no Gekokujou is goes more for realism where as Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? takes the video-game approach many ieskai do. The tones of the anime are very different, but both are well-written.

Unlucky protagonist that was reincarnated/transported in another world with weak stats. Both fight for survive and become stronger along the way.
report Recommended by AlCreed
Both feature protagonists who start as primitive entities and acquire new skills and forms from their environment.

Both shows are very similar in storytelling styles as they tell two stories at once. Midway between the show, it becomes clear that they are not happening simultaneously, and that the connections will make more sense as the show progresses.

- both has non humanoid Protagonist - both try to level up to become stronger - both an isekai based anime
report Recommended by kian1anime
Both have the MC constantly face and struggle with "impossible" scenarios but will make it through the end.

Comedy with non-human looking creatures as the protagonist that can speak as they travel around the world/location around them.
report Recommended by ManWild
Similarities - Both MCs are female and voiced by the same person - Both MCs are reincarnated/isekai from modern world to fantasy - Both MCs are outcasts/socially disconnected - Both MCs have an unfair levelling advantage - Both MCs aren't seen as human (spider/witch) - Both MCs befriend different species (dragon/elves) - Both MCs use their powers to heal/help humans Differences - Kumo Desu is a class that gets reincarnated VS slime 300 is a single female MC that gets isekai - Kumo Desu has an underlying plot VS slime 300 is adventure/comedy and level grinding
