Revisions

They cgi art is pretty simular. Both have sci-fi/action stories with lots of violence. 

Fighting to defeat unknown adversaries in an abnormal place. Characters that care about eachother and are willing to do whatever they can to protect one another. 

Immediately after being introduced to the main cast, I thought of Anohana: 5 childhood friends, seemingly inseparable, that were torn apart by a traumatic event, only to reunite many years later fighting for the same goal. This is certainly the case for Daisuke and his friends Keisuke, Marimari, Gai, and Gai's sister Lu. They rebuild their friendship much like the cast in Anohana. 

Both are time travel-centric shows where the main character is taken from his time to the far future, with a message from a girl telling him he'll be important to the plot (basically). Both also come with all the head scratching foolery that usually comes with a time travel plot, but have fun enough action that they're enjoyable even if the storylines and writing are questionable. 

They both feature a main character with a hero complex, which is considered dangerous by everyone else in the cast, and lead them to multiple self-destructive situations. 

Both are "exercises in unlikeable leads," starring teenagers with massive hero complexes as their main characters, and forcing them to reevaulate their views on heroism and justice due to the events that occur. Linebarrels is more comedic and has ecchi elements, while Revisions is more chaotic and dramatic, but both have a fair amount of action and can get pretty dark at times 

A sudden massive event causes a change that brings out the main character's drive to protect everyone and be the hero. Humans fighting against larger creatures with the aid of combat weapons unlike what currently exist. 

In both anime unknown creatures attack the city and school kids have powers to fight them. In both series the protagonist aims to become a hero and save everyone from the chaos. The mystery element is strong in both series. 

Series about destined heroes who grow up rash & impulsive, believing themselves unstoppable and having to learn the hard way that this couldn't be further from the truth. 

It's like I'm watching Ultraman again. The use of the CGI, the guy who wants to be the hero and protect everyone, the character designs, and the equipping mecha suits to fight monsters are all similar! :D 

UNDERRATED !!! Opening by THE ORAL CIGARETTES. Time travel (changing past to alter future). Fighting the alien monster enemy outside while also the government conspiracy inside before the world is destroyed. Best friend forced to turn on MC in the conflict becoming a sacrifice. Cool designs. COOL SHOW 

Both series feature a group of flawed teenage characters who are forced to overcome a mysterious emergency within a science fiction context they don't entirely understand. They will experience moments of irrationality, emotional stress and internal tensions that will divide their community as a result of human weakness. While Infinite Ryvius places more of an emphasis on the slow development of the cast and on the establishment of different forms of government led by children without adult supervision, Revisions tells a comparatively faster-paced story about the relationship between destiny and heroism as well as the consequences of time travel.
