Both anime depict the struggles a homosexual couple has to face in order to keep their relationship strong. Both of them last only one hour, if you liked one of them, be sure to check the other!

Both adapted from yuri manga with a high school setting; written for older female audiences; both focusing on realistic, non-sexualised relationship development.

Both of these are chock full of adorable shoujo-ai fluff -- if you want to overdose on it I hearily recommend both. Kase-san is about a relationship between two characters who are already girlfriends, while AdaShima is about the development of such a relationship between two friends. They also both share core themes of inexperience, first love, and general angst.

- Both are short, wholesome LGBTQA+ media that anyone (not only those in the community) can enjoy - Smooth and pretty animation - Lovable (and relatable) characters - Both receive my gay stamp of approval

Both are wholesome and earnest from the get go, and unlike many other series the romantic tension isn't drawn out and you get to see a cute romance from the start

Cute LGBT+ movie, one of them has an anime first that you should watch if you wanna catch everything correctly.

Both movies depict sapphic coming of age stories where the characters, their growth and the issues they face are quite realistic. Both movies also contain a mainly soft and calm tone with Kase-san's being slightly sweeter and fluffier than The Summer's.

Cute girls doing everyday things that we find cute. Both have girls' love in it and I'm all for it.

Perhaps this is a little loose, but both of these scratched a similar itch for me. I would describe these two as adorable relationship fluff packaged in very different ways, although there are some similarities. Both shows favour loosely connected one-shot chapters, with the occasional event that takes place over two or three chapters and is built up towards. In terms of characters, both shows favour a very small cast and focus heavily on the one relationship. Another similarity here is how Yamada combines the sugary yet go-getter attitude of Chika with Kaguya's sheltered naivety and overactive imagination.

Tamako Love Story and Kase-san and Morning Glories are both extremely cute movies that focus on a romance between two high school characters that will be graduating soon. Both shows have the same lighthearted and fluffy feelings along with great emotional moments and extremely charming characters. They are the type of movies that will have you smiling really big, and maybe even hiding your face in your hands a little bit as you experience the main characters navigate their feelings of love and affection for the first time. Both are stellar romances, and if you like one for any of the reasons I stated,  read more

Both stories are shoujo ai. While Asagao to Kase-san isn't about the relationship between step-sisters, it paints a realistic image of what lesbian relationships are like. It's also considerably shorter than Citrus so you could easily watch it in a short amount of time.

'Asageo to Kase-San' and 'Tonikaku Kawaii' are super cute slice-of-life tales about an unconventional-yet-precious romance between two intelligent teenagers. Unlike most anime romances, which end as soon as the dating begins, these two focus on the development of the protagonists' relationship, and just how adorable they are together. Both are fluffy & feel-good love stories that are lighter on melodrama and will have you feeling warm & fuzzy in no time. The biggest difference between the two is that AK follows a lesbian couple, while the lovers in TK are heterosexual. Aside from that, a few things set them apart from one another: 1) AK takes  read more
