Both are about anime girls who train at special schools to fight against an evil force. Both have surprisingly similar protagonists. One is cheerful and lighthearted, and she tries to befriend a more serious and tragic one, who hasn’t gotten over losing a loved one in the past.

Girls fighting together against monsters with a school setting and tournaments

The girls were gathered from various combat training schools, united to fight the wild creatures that threaten humanity.

Not really same formula although both stories have many similarities (high school girls in cute uniforms, all-girls high school, girls wielding melee weapons, lesbian subtext). But if you look at a couple of main heroines from one of the anime, they remind you of a couple of main heroines from the other anime. However, Shoujo☆Kageki Revue Starlight is actually about girls who struggle to fulfill their dreams of being theatrical stars and have nothing to do with supernatural powers, evil creatures, or space time distortion....unlike Toji no Miko.

For those who like cute teen girls in feminine uniforms wielding blades and other lethal weapons and getting involved in close combats against inhuman opponents that involves some corporate's evil ambition with a bit lesbian subtext, Toji no Miko and Release The Spyce are all for you!

Both are about special units of anime girls who fight evil forces with certain weapons. In LBX Girls, they fight with futuristic tech, while in Katana Maidens, they fight with swords.

all-girls school(s) that legally has contribution and role in fighting against supernatural creatures that threaten humanity. the cute girls in school uniforms are there to protect the world! All Hail Short-Skirted Heroines!

A group of girls who at first didn't get along, fighting the Noise which is a otherworldly monster. They have to handle the Noise while fighting those who want to take over the world and end it. Tachibana is just like Kanami, optimistic girls who love to fight and will not let their friends go through it alone. Tsubasa is the exact same character (in terms of personality) as Hiyori.

Both series have a group of girls fighting supernatural threats. Both of these series focus on very similarly energetic main characters who are more powerful than the rest. Both series have a best friend relationship with the main characters Kanami/Hiyori and Yoshika/Lynette so if your into yuri you should definitely check them both out.

Similar premise, cute girls fighting demonic monsters in modern Japan while working for a government agency. So far Toji no Miko is cuter and less gorey but faster paced.

Both have a team/school of bad@$$ females, cool visual styles, and if you watched the dub, both main characters have the same voice

They both are action anime with the protagonists on the run from a clan, and they have to stop the end of the world while getting help from a member of said clan. After the final battle, there is a small timeskip.

Cute girls who are hired by the government to fight creatures that cause chaos in humanity (Gastrea and Aratama). In both anime, these government officials receive training. Apart from that in both, different teams compete. But in Black Bullet, it's not just girls who are hired and also have guns.
