After a hectic day at office, the central female characters in these series enjoy their leisure time by having different types of drinks. While Wakako-zake focuses on the lead character enjoying drinks in various food shops (like sushi bar), Osake wa Fuufu ni Natte kara's lead character returns to her house and enjoys drinks prepared by her husband. These two anime are mainly mind-relief based series, and while they have a bit different appeal (Osake's Chisato acting funny after drinking), the mental effects on the viewer are the same: calming experience.

Both mc's are normal... until they drink/get home. In Osake, the mc gets extremely drunk when having even a bit of alcohol and doesn't want anyone to know. In Umaru-chan, the mc becomes a complete 100% otaku when she takes a step indoors and relies on her brother to do everything for her.

The daily life of a married couple with so much cuteness, and a hell lot of Sake to end a day.

- They both focus on alcoholic drinks and the relaxing effects each of them have on people, depending on their mood; - Even if they have different environments and vibes (and lenghts per episode), they both aim to relax the viewer, while giving detailed information about each cocktail mentioned/highlighted in each episode.

Both are very short series about the daily lives of girls that enjoy alcohol. Kodama is more of a loner, doomer but still funny kind while Osake wa Fuufu is more cute, wholesome and funny. Both are great short shows to enjoy with your drink and snacks.

Wotaku and Osake both revolve around working adults and how they interact in private. In Wotaku, the MCs are connected by their love for gaming and anime. In Osake, the husband and wife are connected by their passion for alcoholic beverages. The tone of these two anime are not the same but they do feel similar. They both deal with adult situations and relationships without really delving into the usual ecchi territory. Even though there is some typical charactization tropes and suggestions, there is a sense of maturity to their interactions.

While love is like a cocktail is a short series and isnt about working out, they both give out useful information on either alcohol or working out. featuring hot girls and a warm, calming atmospheric tone to relax throughout both shows without being too invested into them

Both are about lighthearted moments in life. The series is mostly at home of the protagonists. Amaama is about cooking with people, while Osake is about drinking. "Plot" is different, but both are lighthearted and the animation style and colors show this.

In both shows, people get exaggeratedly excited on a first bite or a sip of the meal/drink.

Both series have short episodes (3/4 mins), so you can watch them without taking effort. These two animes are about cooking or cocktail, explaining very well how they are made.

Both have the same edibles on the menu, but one was a Food Porn with a dash of fantasy while the other is a Cocktail Porn with some comedy.

Comedy about a life of a married couple. Both have short episodes.

Both feature cute shorts about an adult relationship. The relationships are very different however, so if you are looking for more otaku loves normie stuff you wont fine it in Osake. The art is cute though.
