Tales of Impossible love. Although one is told on the point of view of the girl and the other on the male side, the two touch to a lot of similar subjects ans problem encountered by the characters and seriously the two main girls in koi to uso are pretty much 2 half of Hanabi in kuzu no honkai.

- boy must marry/be in a relationship with a girl with blonde hair - but he loves someone else and the girl he loves, loves him too, but they have both problems, to confess their feelings to each other (they do it, but it's complicated for both) - both girls become pretty good friends (blonde hair girl doesn't have friends) - school setting is similar - names are also pretty similar (Nisekoi = False Love, Koi to Uso = Love and Lies)

Both adult theme related, talking about relationship hardships and more real world scenarios than other anime out there; in my opinion koi to uso being the better of the two

Similarities: Both involves guy who has a crush on a certain girl in his class , but some gov't program has gotten in the way and the guy was force to live with girl that was a complete opposite of the girl he likes. Both have the same school setting. Both have some ecchi in it. Both ended in an opening ending. Dissimilarities: Koi To Uso The both girls involve with the guy were simple and modest. The guy at first likes a certain girl but as he gets along with another girl he starts to develop feeling for the girl. There is a guy's friend that for some reason never have to  read more

It's about an arranged marriage, while the guy has his eyes on someone else.

After a romantical failure, the protagonist starts dating a random person (in Koi to Uso, it is chosen by the system, whereas in Kanojo, Okarishimasu, is by paying). Eventually, the main character and his fake girlfriend start developing feelings towards each other.

Koi to Uso has the most similar vibes to White Album 2 that I've watched since then. It's not only the love triangle, but the betrayal that will inevitably come between friends (in this season, and especially if there is a second season). The difference in this anime is that the betrayal is overt and accepted between everyone, which is strange in a way but the concept of the government choosing a partner for you is also different. Potentially White Album 2 without the musical aspect.

At first glance, they aren't similar, right? - alternative japan with a law, that prohibits something - main character is unhappy with this law and he starts to disregard this law in Shimoneta it's more comedy and ecchi focussed and in Koi to Uso it's romance and drama focussed

The character designs remind me of each other in addition to the overall vibe of each show. Both feature protagonists with multiple love interests and I can say that if you enjoy this show, you will likely enjoy Koi to Uso.

MC is dealing with relationship, except White album is a lot more realistic

Despite one being a love triangle romance and one being an NTR, they are both similar in some ways. - The main characters are in a relationship they know shouldn't happen in their current situation. - One character in that unspoken relationship in both can't tell some things to the people they "care about" since it will break everything between them. (Yuma, Mizaki) - There's at least one character in both series who's "cheating" on someone else.

1) Starts of hinting towards a romance. 2) Boom! Shakalaka happens~ 3) MC loses his way 4) Another girl comes in These are the 4 big deals that happen in these Animes. What makes it interesting to watch? Their Story-lines & Character Developments. The way how the MCs lose their way to Getting back to Understanding what's most Valuable to them is what made these Animes beautiful. "Golden Time" is based on Adults on the other hand "Koi to Uso" is based on teenagers, making it to relatable for most. Either way! How the stories unfold & make you feel alive is what made it worth watching for me! So, Enjoy!~

Tsuki ga, as with Just Because!, has a lot of similarities with Koi to Uso. Not only it involves teenagers and their romancing struggles, the feeling they pass to the viewer is very comfortable and sometimes nostalgic. Since it describes middle schoolers the innocence of the characters is very well approached and almost touching. A very cute romance with no exaggerated comedy almost stupid characters and scenes observed in the majority of animes. Both focus on the drama of the romance. Calm, nice and very cozy school romance dramas.

Both experiment with love and destiny. The Red Thread. However Green Green is a lot sillier / immature (thus probably why the name green green :p).

Very similar animes. Within the recomendations, Just Because! is probably the one with closer similarities. Besides having the same atmosphere, the romance type is very close to the one observed in Koi to Uso. They seem very realistic and not sometimes overly comic and silly. Both tell a story about the struggles of teenage romance where sometimes one does not know who really likes. The pace is very comfortable where there is no redundancies that'll make the story boring. It captures the viewer from the start until the end. Calm, nice and very cozy school romance dramas.

-The two anime have controversial themes, but subtly portray it -The colors and the art are clear and calm - Both have characters with realistic personality and conflicts.

Both shows have government agencies imposing their will on what they think best suits their citizen. In koi to uso, government arranges marries, in relife, the government allows one to relive their high school days. I would say that relife is more enjoying to watch than koi to uso.

Both shows involve a love triangle, with a boy and two girls. And the character roles are somewhat similar: an indecisive protagonist (Kyosuke & Yukari), a more mature girl he has a crush on from the start (Madoka & Misaki), and a less mature girl he soon grows close to (Hikaru & Ririna).
