In both animes, the characters are "forcefully" paired with other characters. But the main difference is that while in Koi to Uso the characters are paired according to a study that determines their compatibility, while in Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman they are random pairings. Another substantial difference is that Koi to Uso places a lot of importance on drama, unlike the other anime that puts a lot of focus on sweet romance.

In both the anime, the MC have their partner set for them and in both of them they want to have different partners and try their best to do it and their assigned partners also help them achieve their goal.
