Koi to Uso

Tales of Impossible love. Although one is told on the point of view of the girl and the other on the male side, the two touch to a lot of similar subjects ans problem encountered by the characters and seriously the two main girls in koi to uso are pretty much 2 half of Hanabi in kuzu no honkai.
They've both got a similar feel to them, though Kuzu no Honkai is a bit darker.
Perhaps the way they both show the physical side of relationships is what connects them the most.
Both are also showcasing a gay romance in relation to the main character.
So, if you liked Koi to Uso, you'll probably like Kuzu no Honkai.

both shows tackle the hardships of love and crushes koi to uso is less dark then kuzu but all together the same feelings from both shows.
Storylines of these similar series twist around one thing: people're trying to fight hard reality where you just can not have somebody you like.
How should I put this? It's difficult to explain.
-The stories are different, other than the themes of wanting someone you can't have, but yet these two shows feel very similar.
-The genres are the same (drama, romance, school), though Kuzu no Honkai has an added Seinen tag.
-The two main girls look practically the same. (Hanabi and Misaki)
-Little bit of ecchi in each, though not enough to categorize them as such.
-Though they are made by different studios, the art styles are similar.
-Both have killer opening music.
More innocent version of Kuzu no Honkai, plot is somewhat similar but not as dark/mature
Appearances of the character (same hairstyle and hair color)
Both stories are centered around love and infatuation
If you like love-triangle stories then you might like this anime. The other main characters that revolve around the protagonist have the same role (e.g their sexual orientation are the same).

- both show the dark side of love with unrequited love or just forced (or rather forbidden) love
- school setting is pretty similar
- they have the same dark atmosphere
Besides the design, there are many things in common between Koi to Uso and Kuzu no Honkai.
If you watched one, you should watch the other. The drama is quite similar in many points, and the end of the anime isn't what the most people expected.
The main character isn't a strong person and have problems that everyone could have in their situation, bringing the character closer to something real.

Both stories talk about the darker side of romance. However, Kuzu no Hokai is about unrequited love and a social commentary while Koi to Uso feels more like forbidden love in a futuristic setting.
Anime that explores different kind of relationship, although not as much as Kuzu no Honkai. Main characters are somewhat similiar, as in, they fell in love to the person they are not supposed to love. Their love is forbidden in their situation.
The characters that appear here seems to support the main character's ideas. Or who they want.
Mature content. Not your typical romance story. Both MCs have troubles in getting their person they like. Similar animation.

Similar character designs, especially the female characters' hairstyles and personalities. Both focus on themes of forbidden love, deceit, lust, and infatuation with another person. Both are drama and and romance though Kuzu no Honkai has a much mature and heavier feel to the show. The soundtracks also sound very similar to each other.
Both have the same level of romance in which it can't happen due to some weird circumstances, it also has that gay thing on the sides that makes that intrudes to the romance genre of the anime.

This anime explains the character's madness of love. Kuzu no honkai is more about romance between students and teachers, if koi to uso is just a love triangle
Takasaki Misaki reminds me of Kuzu no Honkai's main girl- Yasuraoka Hanabi and both animes dealt with love in their own ways.
• both are slice of life dramas
• both include school romance
• action takes place in modern japan
• main character is forced to be with someone they don't love
