Both Anime uses quiz-style battle except without the epic battle in baka to test... Yeah Same Genre... its like Baka to Test without steroids...

Gives me the Chihayafuru vibe because of that fast buzzing and answering without finishing the question.

Similarities - Both MCs are in high school - Both series have a quiz/riddle where the MC has to answer - Both series show the quizzes like a Japanese game show Differences - Choujigen is an isekai and life or death quiz game VS Nana maru MC is dragged into the quizzes by his classmates

Both are about some sort of competitive sports/game (fencing and quiz bowl) Both has newbie protagonist who don't have any knowledge about those sport/game, But are innate talents. Both have clubs and contests and team activity Both are about protagonist growth in that sport/ game and gives same feel/vibe

Both animes aren't the most similar in genres, i guess, since one is centered on rock climbing and one is on quiz bowl, but the two anime have a similar vibe/feel to it. The main characters are similar in a way - they're both the intelligent type > Iwa Kakeru! - Konomi used to be a gamer who has great analytical skills > Nana Maru - Koshiyama (MC) is a bookworm who is good at trivia (he's intelligent (in a sense))

Sports anime with a passionate and usually energetic protagonist, with bright colors and overall a very light mood. Most of the matches in 7O3X are individual, but the practice team matches bear close resemblance to the ones in Haikyuu. Similar pointy character designs.

Phi brain is about puzzles Nana Maru San Batsu is about quizzes You might like it, Nana Maru is where you have to be the knowledgeable in a lot of categories where you should know the line, but won't matter if you don't have the first finger on the buzzer. Also they are trying to make a club about quizzes what do you know, they make it. It was interesting and give it a check out, don't like it, it wasn't or isn't for you. Well have fun watching anime.

The characters of both anime have an extensive horizon in the knowledge of literature and other arts. They share this knowledge. In Nana Maru San Batsu answering questions in quizzes, and in Bernard-jou Iwaku. Shiori Kanbayashi discusses with the girlfriend Sawako Machida the facts of the books, light novells, manga, mentioning the related films and anime, from well-known authors.

Hyouka shares with Nana Maru San Batsu the underlying theme of how individuals deal with information. Instead of taking a competitive spin on this, Hyouka takes the detective-genre route. It is still about everyday high schools who take apart questions that don't seem to be like a big deal and try to come up with satisfying answers. This time however, the questions aren't coming from quiz booklets but from the students themselves.

Both involves characters being recruited by a very persistent female character to join the club where it competes for honor prestige and money.
