Jigouko Shoujo is 1000 reasons to kill someone, Warau Salesman is the solving of 1000 people problems ruined by weakness and greed.

They have different stories every episode. The characters who appear every episode test a person or persons that is introduced in every episode. One or more characters has something bad that happens in the end. That's pretty much it I think.

Both are reboots of classic anime with macabre atmospheres and social satire.

Both are about people being punished and learning lessons from that supernatural punishment.

- Episodic - The MC digs around the character of the week wherein 18if, the MC tries to save her from the dream world, Warau salesman tries to make them have a deal with the devil - supernatural elements. 18if has the dreamworld and warau has his magical items. Both of them bring out their real character

Warau Salesman is basically a dark take on Doraemon. The characters enounter a problem, and a sci-fi/magical gadget is handed out to them that solves their problem. But in Warau Salesman, there is actually a repercussion to face when using the tool impropedly, when falling for your greed. Both are also remakes of classic old shows.

Since they are both manga from roughly the same period, they share a similar art style while also implementing assets of modern anime to it. Black comedy is the central focus of both these shows, Osomatsu's NEET sextuplets who tragically never find love or happiness, and in Warau Salesman a shifting unhappy protagonist wants their wish granted (ending in the classic genie wish scenario) ends up ruining their lives further from it. Though Osomatsu is far more crude in its comedic delivery,  read more

The only similarity is that a wish gets granted but without revealing that there are consequences and that you lose something of equal value.
