Same kind of setting, with one centered on a Japanese restaurant/cafeteria and the other centered on a Japanese pub. Both have their doors connected to another world.

Both series revolve around restaurants serving traditional Japanese food. Peaceful slice of life pacing, with a pleasant glance into many of the customers' lives and feelings.

They're both Fantasy reverse Isekai and are really great in execution.

Episodic Fantasy Light hearted I wouldn't say they have the same premise but the are the same vibe.

Same premise people from our world have a restaurant with a magical entrance door to a fantasy world

Both are shows that don’t have much of a story and instead focus on highlighting all kinds of Japanese food from across the country. Koizumi-san focuses on ramen and Isekai Izakaya is about pub food. Concepts are different but both are shows perfect to watch when eating delicious food!

Shorts about tasty bar food! Wakako-zake is set in the real world and Isekai Izakaya in a not-so-real world.

Gourmet isekai focusing on traditional foods from China and Japan, that are unusual in the new world. No magic involved in either story. Somewhat historical settings based on China and Germany. Meng Qi starts a bit more dramatic, but both series have a "dish of the day" format.

Ordinary humans from our world are cooking in another world. Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi has a romantic plot as well.

Both series have very laid-back iyashikei atmospheres and focus on the ways that the fantastical intersects with the everyday.

Both showcase a variety of Japanese food within each episode, using a mix of animation in story and real life footage of culinary examples. The main plot differs but will always relate back to Japanese food and a main difference as well, which Maiko-san Chi hasn't got, is that Isekai Izakaya also has bonus features at the end of an episode where you can learn how to make the food item or get taken on a tour to a certain food place within Japan, both related to the food of interest in the episode. Isekai Izakaya is lively in atmosphere whereas Maiko-san Chi is a lot more  read more
