Both kei and okabe have the ability to cheat the time resets/travels and remember them. There's also a time machine in both anime, microwave in SG and Haruki in Sagrada. Both shows have slow starts and get more and more complex with each episode. Both shows have plot twists. While SG has some pandering to otaku (trap, meido, tsundere), SR has none of that.

Both of these seriess deal with students with superpowers in an ordinary school setting. Sagrada Reset focuses comes across as much more dialogue based and serious, whereas Charlotte is more light-hearted and focuses more on light comedy and humor. If you like one you will probably like the other.

- Abnormal experiences with supernatural powers/effects - Investiguate and find solutions to solve the problems caused by the powers - Characters with "mechanical" personalities and dialogues - Romance between the two MC

Both stories are focused around the concept of time traveling and are focused around fixing the past but at the same time, also dealing with the consequences of altering the past as well too.

Honestly it's the most similar show out of every other recommended here. Both are severely underrated by people who watch 1-3 ep and don't understand the plot and both have extremely complex story telling which might be hard for some to understand but if you get into them both, you'll find them to be quite brilliant. Enjoy.

The plot develops around a girl and a boy. School club. Storytelling style is similar. Similar atmosphere. Investigations and mysteries.

Both shows feature a group of young people living in a seemingly peaceful society. Eventually, they discover some secrets about their society, and the main characters are involved in a major conspiracy movement that may or may not change their lives forever.

Both deal with redoing time to achieve better outcomes. Sakurada Reset is more philosophical and Re:Zero is often much more light hearted.

There are some similaraties between them like: Both MC have special abilities; Both cities where the MCs live have people with special abilities; Both MCs are always giving their best to help other people from unusual incidents that happen on their cities; There's always mistery about those incidents; The incidents on their cities usually happen with girls.

Another 2-cour science-fiction/mystery show with high school characters. Both main characters have time travel ability. In YU-NO the MacGuffin of the story is the time travel device the protagonist uses, but in Sakurada reset the MacGuffin is the key to all the superpowers.

Both are very intriguing Mystery anime set in everyday life, though with some supernatural forces in play. Both have intellectual protagonists who strive to achieve their ideal, against a greater force. In Death Note, Light Yagami is a brilliant strategist who sees through his plan, overcoming the obstacles that get in his way. His greatest opponents are also just as brilliant. In Sakurada Reset, Asai Kei plays a similar role to Light Yagami in Death Note, using his intellect to handle great obstacles in cunning ways to achieve his ideal.

Both deal with the control of time. the main character is very similar for both of them in terms of intelligence.

Both shows have a similar philosophical feel in terms of conversation and themes, while also dealing with a variety of superpowers with varying usefulness. Sakurada Reset takes this further by combining abilities in very creative ways - the plot is much more focused there, and respects the viewers ability to think, while Sonny Boy is much more abstract and prefers you to feel rather than think about the plot.

Both shows involve time travel, with main characters trying to fix things in the past. I find Sakurada Reset more boring and extremely slow to get into. Even its later part, which is considered the most interesting, leaves some unwanted plot holes. Meanwhile, Tokyo Revengers is stupid and entertaining at the same time. Unlike Sakurada Reset, it does not try to be complicated and fails to do so. My advice for those who plan to watch these shows: Turn your brain off.

If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, is it a duck? This question is posed (albeit in different forms) in both Nisemonogatari and Sakurada Reset, which affects their respective characters and overall narrative.

- Psychological and Supernatural then Sagrada Reset. - Main gang has unexpected powers related to their mind. - Small town mystery feel - there's a mysterious tough and cold main character in both anime.

Both anime series revolve around the story of students who posses supernatural powers and mix it with a touch of romance. The approach to both aspects is really similar and watching Sakurada Reset (first 2 episodes or so) reminded me of Rewrite.

-Galaxy mongo brain plot -Sad and depressing

Both shows are about ability users. The main male character of both shows have abilities that make them special for the circumstances of the setting. While Sakurada Reset is not as action oriented as Index, both shows feature small arcs spanning a few episodes which allow for interesting narratives to be explored.

Mysteries full of lengthy philosophical conversations between characters as opposed to much action. These shows make you think.

The theme of reseting is preset in both of these series. In Sakurada Reset, it's more literal time reversal compared to Isshuukan Friends in which only the female lead has her memories reset, but the concept of the female lead losing a part of themselves every week is the same between both series.

Both has bigger mystery involved in the end and long complicated answers and reasoning to back it up.

Both has a complicated NON SHOWING FEELINGS PERSON. Always thinking ahead and has many crazy plans that you dont see coming. Each episode is you scratching your head wondering what or how are they going to get out of trouble this time.

Both Sakurada Reset and Hitori no Shita have main female protagonists who appear to be stoic and emotionless. Superpowers are a central theme in both anime, but the main male protagonists are complete opposites: Asai, Kei appears to be relatively mature, calm, and straightforward whereas Zhang, Chulan is childish, outgoing, and often beats around the bush.

Both have aspects of redoing past events to correct a problem or an issue

- Complex and fast paced overall plot that doesn't spoon feed information to viewers. - Gets confusing quick because things don't make sense at the beginning, so you have to invest in the episodes to understand (I promise it'll all come together at the end!) - Probably requires a second watch to catch all the details. - Both are mystery/psychological with an inception vibe since tangential plots are always overlapping. - Male MC who is tasked to basically figure everything out and solve the issues.

I think that you will enjoy Angel Beats! if you liked Sakurada Reset. I cannot explain it because there are no obvious similarities, but the feel is definitely there. I think both shows have good balance of drama, romance, and elements of supernatural. After watching Sakurada it really reminded me of Angel Beats. Give it a try!

These shows are similar in the sense that they approach the characters' actions and mindsets with subtlety and give you hints as to why they make their choices. Oregairu seeks to help out people in their school, but Sakurada Reset wishes to achieve this on a grander scale.

Both have time manipulation in them, and made by same studio.
