The series have similar artstyles (although Akiba's Trip is lower quality but still fine), both involve fights in which clothes play an important role, both deal with nudity although in unusual way despite being tagged as ecchi (due to the unusual artstyle), even the main antagonists have some things in common. Both shows are really enjoyable so if you liked one you might like the other.

-Ecchi -Normal life to Superhero life

These two anime are similar because they both parodies on anime. But in Akiba's Trip The Animation, it's more on the anime culture in Akiba. They also joke around with cliches in anime.

- Weird but interesting characters - Kind of paranormal things in both shows - Similar artstyle and animation

Both are based on a notable Japanese gaming series and both share the main cast being out of their depth in dangerous situations.

Both are about otaku culture and have a fun zany vibe. They also have many of the same staff members, most notably the director.

They are both ecchi anime where the main characters have to fight off zombie-like creatures

both main characters have the power to strip people

The shows aren't that similar in plot or anything, but I think they both do a great job of parodying different anime tropes.

Because both show good things about otaku culture with a touch of sci fi.

Both are very enteratining comedy anime, which are kinda similar. Konosuba features a group of people in a rpg game world completing quests, and akiba's trip features a group of people trying to protect a shopping town, from creatures who posess people, who are defeated when all their clothes are stipped off (weird concept lmao). Both feature an over the top male protagonist, and a group of female characters that work alongside them. The akiba trip anime is based on a game, but i didnt play the video game, and really enjoyed it.

* Same studio * Same director * Same female trio MC seiyuus/OP singers (Earphones, consisting of Rie Takahashi, Yuki Nagaku, and Marika Kouno) * Both EDs usually vary on the music every episode * Both contain outside references that most otakus can appreciate in every episode

- The Mc is a NEET - There are paranormal events occuring without most people knowing - In both shows the MC is (you know what if you saw o;9)

Both have slapstick comedy and silly random plots.

both parody, anime parody, ecchi, boy-girl couple, one scene: distcrict jokes and parodies of the time when the anime have been aired

Anime based on PSP game franchises from the same era. Conception adapts the first game while Akiba's Trip is its own entry into the franchise. Both have a pretty episodic format and make heavy use of parody humour. The premise of both shows have the main characters trapped somewhere, with the only way out being to get into sketchy situations where people get undressed!

Same brand of comedy and ecchi. Both series feature girls that get beat up and stripped. Sometimes simultaneously.

Both are comedy/parody shows. Akiba's Trip parodies various otaku hobbies while Kurumi parodies mahou shoujo.

Urahara is pretty much Akiba's Trip but in Harajuku instead of Akihibara. Where Akiba's Strip focuses around otaku culture, Urahara focuses on fashion.
