Matantei Loki Ragnarok

Tactics and Loki are both mystery stories that deal with supernatural beings (or 'occult detective' stories, if you prefer), and are based on mythology/folklore (Norse in Loki's case, and Japanese in Tactics' case). They are episodic for the most part, with the main plot emerging in the second half of the series and toward the end. On the surface, they are both seemingly comedies, but there is also a lot of drama as they touch upon the relationships between people. The overall feeling these two anime give is very similar. You can even draw connections between some of the characters. Aside from that, Tactics and Loki are also based on the manga by the same mangaka, animated by the same studio, and directed by the same person. And both are epic... >.>  read more 

Well though they DO have the same mangaka (Sakura Kinoshita, with Kazuko Higashiyama working with her on Tactics), and this is evident in the art of the first few volumes of Tactics where Kinoshita-sensei does most of the artwork, they're also similar in that the main character is usually solving mysteries/cases that have to do with paranormal phenomena. In Loki the phenomena are based mostly on Norse, and some Greek/Roman mythos. In Tactics, Japanese folklore are the foundation of the phenomena. Also it's similar in that one of the lead characters undergoes some sort of a transformation/ is hiding another form: Loki has a teenaged/adult form, while Haruka has an tengu form. read more 

-The drawings are alike. -Kantarou's and Loki's hair are similar. -Made by same manga writer. -Suzu and Spica have similar hairstyles. (Spica shows up only in the last episode.) -Both are fantasies. 

This one is full of action, adventure, comedy, mystery, supernatural... overall you will enjoy it. 

Both shows are about detective angency's...solving mysteries...both shows have supernatural theme;if you liked one you'll like the other too. 

Both anime are trying to solve mystery cases using their power with the help of a high school girl. One anime using demon power while other anime using god power 

Loki reminds me of Ciel and his assistant Yamino reminds me of Sebastian. Both of these anime is also like solving cases like crimes and all that. All I can say is, lots of similarities. 

it's alike becuz the both have a child presenting authority in intelligence and coolness not to mention cuteness  

One cannot simply dismiss the similarity in concepts between these titles. While watching Loki, I cannot help but remember Rental Magica from 2 years back and definitely Neuro. Sharing a concept which involves some form of western occult magic, for instance, Rental Magica embraces all forms of world magic folklore such as Celtic, Solomon and Japanese Onmyouji, while Loki focuses on Norse mythology, as observed by the main character, Loki, himself. Additionally, the gradual and slow pace of plots between the two shows are observed in a similar fashion for both titles, which thus brings out the development and characterisation of the characters effectively. 

The heroines in both series love mysteries and are eager to solve them. And they end up sticking aroung the main character who is the one that solves mysteries. The main character is not happy abpot that at first in both series. They are both great and interesting mystery comedy anime. 

In both series, there is magic and mystery in the present world. As such, both the main male and female protagonists are involved with strange factors throughout each episode. Both series has comedy, drama, and some action. There is also some romance in both series. 

Yato and Loki are gods who doesn't really have a good reputation in the world of gods. Both had to live in human world and meet a human girl (which is also the female lead). Other gods appear one by one. 

Both have teen boys that were turned into kids and become detectives to find out what happened  

The main characters are both shota (young boys), who have supernatural powers - Loki is a Norse god, Laharl is the son of the previous Demon Overlord. They both attempt to return to their "home", they have female companions who boss them around or manage to get them to do something they don't want to: Mayura for Loki and Etna/Flonne for Laharl :P There are mascot characters for both series: Ecchan and Fenrir for Loki and Prinnies for Disgaea...need I add more? 

While watching these shows I felt an odd link between them. While one was far more serious and better made than the other, both had a very simliar appeal to them. Both dealing with the supernatural, and a young girl who by chance becomes entangled in the life of a young detective. If you are looking for a show that is similar in almost (aside from the quality and level of seriousness) every way to the other, this would be it.
