- Both involve time travel as a main feature and device of the plot and it's not a later plot development or hidden twist, but a main selling point upfront of both series. - Both have educational merit teaching audiences about different historical time periods, different laws, customs, flora and fauna, technology, even measurement systems within them, as well as some historical figures. And both could qualify as "edutainment" for this reason. - Both contain and don't shy away from some darker topics and moments to be a reflection of what is true to history, but are not too explicit and "safe" enough to still show  read more

Every time I see the opening of Mewkledreamy it instally reminds me of Time Travel Girl. They have a very happy vibe to them, similar beautiful color shades and share a story where high school girls fight evil.

Both anime explore time travel using devices actually made by people in the present day in that universe.

Both shows are about science but Dr.stone shows you how the science works rather than just talking about the people who made it happen. It also does a better job in my opinion of getting u interested in science.

Both series use the entertainment format to explain scientific ideas.

Both shows contain cute girls, time paradoxes, and poorly written antagonists.

-both are educational shows about historical figures, TTS about scientists and classicaloid about classical musicians -pretty childish humor, especially in time travel shoujo -both are aimed towards a general public, no swearing, no boobs, no violence -semi-episodic format with some kind of plot going on -TTS takes itself serious, while classicaloid is just a bunch of wtf moments -in the same line, TTS is way more educational than classicaloid

Both are educational anime, complete with a lecture segment at the end of the episode. They both involve kids who get to travel to the past, and are science-themed series.
