Both are musicals, have a girl as main protagonists and a group of guys related/interested on her, and the main scenario is a college.

Gakuen Alce and Magic-Kyun! are both school based animes that primarily follow one girl, and a group of students with unique abilities. Although it's not solely art and Gakuen Alice is primary school not high school there are a lot of similarities between the Arte of Light and the young Alice users. Both of these bring you on a different adventure and they will both find ways to play with your heart and have you wondering where you're headed after getting through the 'introductory period'

Both have the same reverse harem, where it involves one girl with a bunch of guys, vying for the girl's affection, however, characterwise, the girl in Magic-Kyun is a bit more matured compared to the girl from Watashi ga Motete, whose is a bit on the immature side.

they're both kind of reverse harem but with like no romantic interactions, just i think more of admiration i guess. neo Angelique abyss is on the darker side, with fighting and monsters while magic kyun is on the brighter side with bright colours and singing. but they are quite similar as they are both, what i would classify as reverse harem.

I found the magical depictions of art in both anime similar in atmosphere. Sugar sculpting and flower arranging are presented beautifully in both anime. The tone of the shows is vastly different, with 'Sugar Apple Fairy Tale' being set in a darker and historical world where fairies are enslaved and Magic-Kyun! set in a magical modern school. Both have a storyline where the heroine tries to befriend someone strongly opposed to her because of who she is.

If you liked the whole "Art turns into magic" thing you will probably like Prism Shows as they both mix performances with fantastic imagery. Also, both have romance, some drama and very colourful art styles.

Both anime are reversed harem with a female lead that actually have a personality. Most of the handsome men are in love with her and hints of romance come along the way. Both anime have well-known seiyuus and good art/animation.

The similarities are obvious once you begin watching them; musical, reverse harem, group bonding, and school life are a few similarities that stand out the most. The biggest difference in Starmyu is the absence of a female main character, Starmyu's cast is entirely made up of guys. Other than that their really isn't that big of a difference except the lack of romance replaced in Starmyu by a little bromance but with an all male cast what do you expect.

-Both are original anime which have themes of artistry mixed in with beautiful magic imagery. They are also romantic series.

Similarities: reverse harem, girl that tries to learn something new and makes friends along the way, Inchijouji = Kazuki most of the characters are quite similar to be honest. Differences: this is about classical music, the girl mc never even thought about playing an instrument but Kohana wanted to do magic.

Both animes are about gifted students pursuing their passions. main difference: as the title suggests, its more fantasy based with the use of magic. but its used in a different way, meaning its not like a fantasy thats focused on allll magic. the passion they pursue are real life ones like painting, singing, and caligraphy but theyre passion is soo bright it makes it all magically sparkle.

Swap art and magic for pastries and desserts and voila, you're watching Bonjour! (Minus the singing)
