Wagaya no Oinari-sama.

both involve youkai's, and have a similar feeling, except natsume yuujinchou is not as lighthearted as oinari sama. 

There are some similar concepts, like old Japanese deity figures and characters living among human beings. However, unlike Gingitsune, the deity in Wagaya no Oinari-sama can be seen by anyone, so instead, the deity has chosen to live and take part in a human lifestyle -- running stores, being part of organisations and similar situations. In Gingitsune, only those who are a part of a certain family line can see the deities inhabiting the various temples around the country. Bot shows are basically based around young children/teenagers and the relationship they form with the deity/semi-deity characters that make up the other half of the cast, and this is the main strength of both shows. read more 

The feel this anime gives is somewhat similar to that of Wagaya, both involving the supernatural and there is humour injected in them. 

the story style the main charecters Yoko and Kuugen are just too similar 

Both Anime deal with youkai. Both have similar styles and similar tones to the plot lines. 

You will probably like both of them if you like animes that have relation with the Japanese culture and connection between gods and humans where they live in the same society or world. 

the main characters in both shows are wolf gods/godesses and they somehow have a pretty similar attitude. 

It's simple to see that fantasy elements are part of both series even if they differ by their presentation. In their modern world, there are spirits present in both series with supernatural abilities. The main protagonist gets involved with these spirits and entities that causes mischief among the community. At the same time, they possesses power of their own. (shape-shifting) Both series takes place in a school life setting that ensures drama, comedy, and fantasy. There is a stronger presence of romance in Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha. However, Wagaya no Oinari-sama possesses credible comedy that holds the show together with its characters + dialogues. 

Both of them use chants to kill the demons or at least render it powerless. They have very powerful animal spirits that help them get rid of the demons. They are both going to be successors to the head family shine... 

Both have almost the same theme and focus on battle against demons, and main characters that looks the same (Inuyasha = Tenko, Kagome = Noboru, etc.). 

Looking for light-hearted anime with supernatural elements? Both Mokke and Wagaya no Oinari-sama have plenty, especially from Japanese folklore. The main characters in both series are a pair of siblings, one an elementary schooler and one a high schooler; in Mokke it's a pair of sisters, while in Oinari-sama a pair of brothers. In both anime the younger sibling is often targeted by supernatural creatures such as youkai. In Mokke the older sister protects the younger, while in Oinari-sama the younger brother is protected by a third protagonist who is a youkai herself. 

In both anime the main characters possess powers or blood other demons wish to devour. They both have a fox deity who protects them from these demons and at times other deities. Both of these anime delve in Shinto and Japanese tradition & folklore. Although these series both contain romantic comedy, they differ in that Wagaya no Oinari-sama is a Shounen genre whereas Kamisama Hajimemashita is Shoujo. 

"How is Wagaya no Oinari-sama. similar to Kanokon?" Thankfully it's not other than the fact that Wagaya no Oinari-sama also has deities who are foxes. Kanokon was a complete let down for me. If your unsatisfied with Kanokon and wished there was an alternative to that horrid piece of trash, then look no further. Wagaya no Oinari-sama has everything Kanokon does not. Story, plot, and character development. Kanokon was the poison. Wagaya no Oinari-sama is the Antidote.  

The idea of mystical creatures living in a modern society in present time are existent in both Wagaya no Orinari-sama and Uchouten Kazoku. Along with that, both series' main male protagonist has a family bloodline/generation that are explored through narrative/storytelling. One of the main characters in both series are also able to shapeshift themselves as a male/female. They create some mischief through this habit creating humor. Speaking of which, both series' dialogues has some importance to them regarding their origins that can range from comedy to dramatic and to emotional.  

Guguru! Kokkuri-san and Wagaya no Oinari-same are anime with little bit of gender-bender, a fox-girl/fox-guy as main character; and they contain plently of supernatural elements, mostly from Japanese mythology (youkai etc.). Kokkuri-san is mostly a male (though he temporarily becomes female at some point in the anime, while Kuugen from Oinari-sama can change freely between her male and female form (she mostly uses her female form though); Kokkuri-san also has another animal-spirit character that can change between male and female like Kuugen. Both anime also have plenty of comedy; though Gugure! Kokkuri-san is a little bit less serious. 

In both series females have to protect the male(s) from danger, and both have magic-related skills. Sekirei is more based on action and emotional scenes while Wagaya no Oinari-sama is more based on comedy and slice-of-life. 

Well, at first glance, I didn't think these two series were similar but the supernatural theme involving mystical creatures is hard to ignore. Then, there's the main male protagonist who is kind and gets along well with others, in particular with the other main protagonist of their series. There is some action, fantasy, and drama involved that takes place in a modern setting. Among these things, there is strange origins related to some of the characters that are explored in later episodes.  

Both anime are about schoolboys having to deal with supernatural beings. Both are set more or less in our own time, in our own world. 

Both series have a supernatural world with gods and spirits superimposed on the normal world. This will then make the life of spiritually sensitive school kids slightly more complicated than it should. Also, in the both series the gods and spirits are more silly and comical than impressive and threatening. 

Both involve the relationship between fox spirits and humans. Wagaya no Oinari-sama has the edge as it's a TV series, so there is more in terms of plot and character development. 

both deals with demons and nature power.. in kaze no stigma it's fire and wind.. in Wagaya no Oinari-sama it's water and wood.. in short.. both anime has the same feeling to it.. 

Both posses a neko type god as well as battles against evil spirits 

Both of them have: Ayakashi, Guardian, Girl with Animal Ears, Mystic Powers  

Both have demons in them, in different asspects. Except Yagaya no Oinari-sama is a lot more light hearted then Amatsuki. The quirks are quite familiar. 

Both were the same studio and are filled with several different bgms (OSTs I believe). Both contain large amounts of slice of life and have similar storytelling methods, and excellent OPs.
