My name is Stig Høgset, and I'm currently working as an editor and reviewer for THEM anime. Outside the scope of anime, I do a bit of videogaming (heavy on retrogaming) on the side, as well as some photography. I'm also rather heavily into music, mostly metal, prog and folk.
Thank you. ^^
And yes, it really is! Before I signed up here, I had already developed a habit of noting down the shows I were watching in a txt-document, so I wouldn't loose track. This is way more convenient, however. And there's so much more to do and discover!
I like it here.
No kidding. Right now it looks like this year is Japan - Kimi has never been so that's the priority trip. If the family isn't doing the Philippines in 2015, then we'll probably take our first trip to Europe then - likely UK - France - Germany - Norway. This is all really tentative yet, but time is on our side for now. :)
I am debating whether or not to finish Sengoku Collection so THEM Anime can have a proper review of it. I'm 20 episodes out from the end and rarely has that runtime ever felt so daunting. It'll have to work hard to get to three stars -- there's essentially no narrative and too many of the characters are irrelevant or, worse, boring.
Mid-July is a terrible time to go hiking just about anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere, I think. It'd be good for skiing the Australian Alps though!
In the day since I posted that, the anime compatibility actually ticked 0.2% *higher*. O_O
It's almost too bad you're not on Facebook, my iPhone photos default to that account so every time I post something from my hiking travels and think "Stig really ought to see this", I forget how irritating it is to try and post FB photos on the THEM boards. Doh! >_< I'll have to email you a few - especially as I'm moving from Florida to Texas in a month.
If I win MEGABUCK$ on Jeopardy! I'll be sure to make an appearance in your neck of the woods. Then we can be all Yama no Susume except the part about being super-cute ambiguously lesbian high school girls.
I started reading Ryuushika Ryuushika after seeing your recommendation in Yotsuba&'s page. I really want to thank you for that because I'm really, REALLY enjoying it.
Also, holy crap, after hundreds of anime seen, we STILL have over a 90% compatibility rate (and that manga rate will probably climb as I update my list).

Thanks for your request :)

Manga compatilbility: 87.2%
All these years of reviewing and even coming from opposite sides of the world we arrive at one heck of a consensus.
