-Cute boys doing cute things -Japanese mysticism -Occasionally being summoned to rid the world of evil Seriously, if you love Touken Ranbu you'll probably enjoy this too.

Both shows are about weapons portrayed as pretty boys, with the main difference being that for Touken Ranbu they are swords and in Thousand Musketeers they are guns. Thousand Musketeers takes more of the approach with Hanamaru focusing more on the slice-of-life aspect than the more action-driven Katsugeki series.

Cute boys (who aren't really boys but kinda are) doing cute things to get their owners' attention. Every so often they do or say something to remind you they're actually swords or pets who just want to be loved and cared for. It's adorable

Both have elements of the Shinsengumi, But Touken Ranbu is about historical swords transformed into men to protect history. The swords from the shinsengumi include Kashuu Kiyomitsu and Yamatonokami Yasusada two uchigatana wielded by Okita Souji, And Izuminokami Kanesada(uchigatana) and Horikawa Kunihiro(wakizashi) wielded by Hijikata Toshizou

Based on a online browser game are both. While in Kantai Collection are only girls, in Touken Ranbu are only boys. In KanColle the girls are ships, in Touken Ranbu the boys are swords. They are fighting with a black organization like to stop them doing bad things. Where they all live is almost same, just in KanColle is a school like and in Touken Ranbu is a mansion.

Both shows: - Are based on games with the female public as target - Have good looking male characters - Have samurai and historical battle scenes - Have references to the actual history of Japan
