- Haikyuu and Days are similar in the fact that both the main protagonists just recently really started to play a sports, more so for Days. - Both Hinata and Tsukushi are seen as "weak" in the beginning but show true potential to be great as the series goes on. - Both Hinata and Tsukushi learn to make friends and what its like to be in a team. - Both Hinata and Tsukushi don't let anyone get them down; in fact, they use it as a motivation. (Hard workers!) - Overall, if you like sports anime, then just give this a try.

Both deal with MC's that dream of becoming professional football players who work on improving these skills through sheer determination.

Here we go: Days and Diamond no Ace. They are not the same but do have some pretty cool points in common, that while watching Days reminded me of Diya no A. - The main characters in both couldn't be more different from eachother to be honest but they are both surrounded by wonderful team-mates and the series dedicate quite some quality time to develop them all, or most of them. - both main characters are enrolled in schools with a powerhouse sports club (being soccer's club in Days and baseball's club in Diya no A) which carries big experience and expectations from the audience of the anime  read more

They both consist of an MC who knows nothing about the sport at first. The MC Gradually improves in the sport through hard work and determination. MC makes friends by working hard and proving everyone wrong. Both MC's are quiet at first, but open up later on.

Similarities: - MCs are newb to the sport and start out weak, but works hard to achieve goals - Both MC's weakness can also be their strength, and share other similar talents Differences: - different team compositions (partners vs teams) = different character dynamics - Fujita learns more from teachers/coaches while Tsukamoto does so more from peers - The two start the sport for different reasons -- different focus/theme P.S. From reading the mangas, I think Ballroom e Youkoso is more likely to have romantic relations

Both have a good character development. Both anime play emphasis on bond shared by MC and other team members. Both have timid MCs. Both MC started as weak but as the series progresses they gain confidence and through their hard work surprises everyone. Both are looking for an objective in the start.

- Both start out with weak but enthusiastic boy. - That boy then has to train hard in order reach his goal. - Both of the boys start their journeys later than the other kids so they have to work harder than everyone else. - Though they are not about the same thing, one being heroes and the other being soccer, they both encompass similar ideas.

Kuroko no Basket and Days have similar MCs -love the sport -want to be better -start off bad -train to improve They are both centered around team sports, one is about basketball while the other is about soccer. Teamwork is important and the teams are strong in both animes. While the MCs in Kuroko no Basket had a different and specific goal, the two shows are very similar to each other in their essence and atmosphere. They are both sports anime with comedy, maybe more so in Kuroko no Basket.

Both anime are sports genre with Days being soccer while All Out!! being rugby. The protagonist in both anime is a small guy who has no experience in the sport they joined while they have a blond hair friend who is experienced in the sport. They practice and compete in matches and both the protagonist and his friend have character development and makes each match exciting.

Football (Soccer) is what makes the two similar. Not to mention both being very good! While Giant Killing is about a weak team becoming strong, Days (TV) on the other hand is a story where a weak player becomes strong. Nevertheless, if you are into football (soccer) the two is a must watch!

Earnest lead character who has no experience with sports gets roped into it because he wants friends. No one expects much of him but he goes on to impress.

It is pretty much the same theme. Similarities include: 1. Main character gets into a new sport. 2. Starts loving it and practicing hard while getting better and better. 3. Makes new friends due to the sport. If you liked the one,you will enjoy the other one as well.

Ao Ashi and Days are obviously soccer anime, but uses different tropes for their main character. Tsukushi (Days) is the untalented player who works hard to find a way to contribute to the team. Ashito (Ao Ashi) is the talented egocentric player who must overcome the challenges from playing in a new team and against strong opponents. Sports anime are very formulaic, but we still watch them for the excitement. Days is not the most interesting sports anime and Ao Ashi is not the most original sports anime, but you can still enjoy watching them for the soccer.

Both tell the story of a young man who wants to get into a sport as a complete beginner who meets a prodigy of this same sport. Both train with multiple problems, but with the help of a cast of companions who, through the effort and courage of working in team fight to reach an important tournament

A bunch of guys with eccentric personalities working together towards a specific goal. One anime is about football, the other about theater, but they share similar vibes. Anyone who likes cute 2D guys will likely enjoy both animes to some degree.

>Both anime talks about sports(soccer for "Days" and football for "Eyeshield 21").At the start, both MC's doesn't have any experience in the sports their gonna be playing.Tackles about their struggles as they gets better.if you liked "days" you'll probably enjoy watching "Eyeshield 21" too.

Both feel-good football anime.

Even though both are incredibly new so far (12/7/16) they both have a protagonist that hasn't experienced the sport yet and a companion that is either very experienced or ready to drag them along for the ride.

The protagonist of both series are not the most talented individual in their team, but carve out a respectable place in the team. A lesson learned by the main character of each series is that strong athletes focus on their own growth and success for the benefit of the team. Playing a competitive sport means taking away the opportunities of others to be part of the team. It also means sacrificing being a regular student with a social life. How you deal with this reality will influence your future as an athlete.
