Oshiete! Galko-chan

Sex positive, occasionally witty, and dripping with indecency. Both shows consist of a core cast of girls with coarse senses of humour shooting dirty jokes one load after another, hard and fast. Whilst common anime tropes such the innocent Ojou-sama character is subverted in both series; Seitokai Yakuindomo more or less follows popular manzai comedy traditions whereas Gyaruko-chan relies more heavily on trope subversion, frank realism, and situational comedy. 

These two anime have similar formats, in that they consist largely of brief comedy sketches and gags strung together into episodes, and have a small group of high schoolers as their main cast with numerous supporting characters. In both cases, the subject matter is often sexual and includes topics that are taboo (at least by western standards), such as feminine hygiene. Of the two, Seitokai Yakuindomo has more perverted characters and topics. 

Both are Comedyy Anime about 3 Girls which are kinda dumb. 

They are both comedies taking place at a school that make you feel like you're the main trio's 4th friend joining in and laughing along with their shenanigans. They have a similar sense of humor, albeit Oshiete Galko-chan is a bit more sexual than AA, so if you had fun watching one of them, you'll certainly enjoy the other. 

It was interesting when someone compared Kobayashi and Galko-chan and it was a bit of a stretch. But the more I pondered on the more I thought hey these two can be compared. Both shows feature an unlikely mixture characters that wouldn't mesh well together societal norms. Kobayashi and her Dragon Maid and Galko-chan and her friends both explore the developing friendships and relationships despite their differences. Galko-chan and Kobayashi both are slice of life genres cutting to different situations throughout each episode of the show. There is are about three to four different situations in both shows that the characters must tackle and overcome. Despite it's sitcom like appearance Kobayashi and Galko-chan carry a theme throughout the show. Although the themes are similar both share a lot of differences in themes. Kobyashi's theme is mostly tied to relationships and even explores discrimination. Galko-chan focuses on the relationships between stereotypes within high school and explores sexual topics. If you liked Kobayashi-san's themes about differences and cute slice of life comedy then Oshiete! Galko chan will be up your alley.  read more

Oshiete! Galko-chan has become well-loved by parts of the anime community for its efforts to demystify and normalize normal parts of the female experience, but I think it's important to remember that Kyou no Asuka Show was doing many of the same things 4 years earlier. While Galko-chan took a broader approach towards dismantling female stereotypes, Asuka Show specifically examines the sexual tensions men experience concerning women, and through its main character these tensions are presented as ridiculous and unnecessary. Of course both shows have a sexually-open blonde-haired main character, and I'm sure that for some viewers that will be enough of a similarity to make a persuasive recommendation, but the similarities between these shows are deeper and more significant than just some surface-level visual similarities. read more 

Both series are about girls doing everyday life things in school, and are both short-form anime meaning that you can finish both series very quickly. 

Both are slice of life comedies that are short and feature a busty, friendly school girl as a main character 

A slice of life comedy about high school girls from a female POV, not shying away from any topic, and somewhat more realistic than a typical CGDCT show. 

Both anime are about a Gyaru main character. It's a pretty loose connection, as one is an ecchi romance (Hajimete no Gyaru), and the other is a comedy slice of life (Oshiete! Gyaruko-chan), with no romance but just a good high school comedy skit. 

Both are full of funny short stories, however Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou deals with high school boys' experiences. 

Anime de Wakaru Shinryounaiki, or Comical Psychosomatic Medicine, is something you would enjoy after watching Oshiete! Galko-chan. Both are short and simple, with ecchi themes. The characters are easy to like and will make you laugh. CPM has similiar discussion to those in Oshiete! Galko-chan, but more to do with psychiatry than with the female body. 

* Both are about funny highschool girls discussing about everything ( from simple jewelry to sex ) in a funny way * Both female leads girls ( Galko-chan & Yamada ) looks like a goddess in their class/school & both of them speaks to much...atleast in a funny way.. * To make it short, if you enjoyed light anime such as B Gata H Kei, you'll mostly probably like Oshiete! Galko-chan because their jokes/characters are very,very similar...  

Two series where the "plot" are only conversations between the main characters. Though in Lucky Star the thematics are very variable, the way they're told are the same.
