Comet Lucifer

Comet Lucifer almost feels like a little brother to Eureka Seven (that's a polite way of saying that it very clearly copies many of its aspects from ES). The worlds are very similar with how they're structured- mechas, hoverboards, semi-futuristic with a group of characters who live together and explore the world. The main characters from both shows parallel each other almost shockingly well. It's almost like the writer for Comet Lucifer got most of his ideas from Eureka Seven. Lastly, the art styles are almost exactly the same. None of this is a knock on Comet Lucifer at all, but it's easy to tell early on that it is heavily influenced by Eureka Seven.  read more 

Mecha and romance, both anime have the similar genre and character which is a male lead that's still in his teen and some mysterious main heroine. Sometimes the story give some comedic scene and it tells the romance story between the two main character. The story in both anime is interesting but too similar with one and the other.  

Both shows feature the Main Character who finds a young girl who has some kind of power. 

Well for starters, they are both visually similar character design wise. -The main guy in both shows are the same typical "I want to help you" types who is paired of with the main girl -The main girl is the "absentminded, clumsy, airhead type" who wants to do their best for the main guy, wants to know about the world -Both the orange hair characters show a bit of affection for the main guy, but are put off aside too  

* Boy meets Grill type of story... * Grill can't live without that boy (annoying lil' fucks) * World leaders needs these grills as tools... * Pretty dumb MC male has no balls, but still manages to save the grill numerous times.... * Average art + lighthearted story + boring characters = crapfest in Japan... * forgetable character names, bgm's and kids story...if you like these type of shows...probably you'll like one or another....  

- Both protagonists are gemstone lovers - Both protagonists finds a specific gem that changes their lives forever - Both protagonists use this special gem to save/change the world 

Both have a similar feel to it I can't describe what it is what the art the scenery they all feel similar in my opinion. Both anime have a good story and well they both deal with interesting stuff like meeting new people and changing their fate. I recommend both anime if you haven't seen them.
