A moving piece of art, one which is able to use art as a means to sincerely push forward their themes onto the viewer. You don't want to be missing out on some of the best their respective styles have to offer.

Relevance. Mudai and Shinkai aren't the most similar thing, but they both do have this theme of someone with an importance to the other person in hand. Both are good music video with colourful visuals and animation to push forward the emotion presented within.

Mudai and Third Heart are good music videos that have a way of conveying a heartfelt mental progression of an individual. Mudai focuses on a relationship, Third Heart focuses on more psychological matters. Both are pretty good and time-efficient, they look really nice if nothing else.

An artist's troubles. Both Mudai and Pretending to forget give a story based on an artist of some kind of life troubles and the downsides and lessons it can bring forward. Whilst Mudai is about art can incapacitate one, Pretending to forget is about the mental illness of an individual. Mudai is a music video in comparison to the short that is Pretending to forget. Good time-efficient shorts.

Music videos with watercolor-style animation. Both are about a couple and how their relationship turn out to be. Kenshi Yonezu sang and made the character design for Eine Kleine.

Emotional songs by Mudai with a social commentary and non-traditional animation that is really nice to look at. If you liked on of those, be sure to check the other one.

Drama revolvion surrounding a romantical relationship narrated as a music music video with an atypical artstyle. If you liked one of those, there is a high chance you'll enjoy the other one too.

Abstract. "Action speak louder than words" as they say, Road to You and Mudai follow this concept to some extent. They both use abstract art to convey current screen emotions to the viewer, whilst the underlying story plays on top of it giving a motif of a real deep story. Both are good shorts with one of its collection of three ads, the other being a music video.
