If you liked the tournament and battle aspect in one of these anime then you should try out the other one as well. They both center around a game where the main character wants to become the champion at. The concept that friendship is important is also very important in both anime.

Both iconic children's anime from the same era who feature young heroes who ally with their respective monsters and battle alongside them against various friends and foes.

it reminds me of beyblade because there is a made eup sport and there is a leage the main characters are all on a team and it just has he same elements as beyblad and both are very good

In both shows heroes battle with mechanisms that harbour spirits of creatures. In both parts can be modified and upgraded to increase that creature's efficiency in battle. Both are iconic kids anime from the same era with similar looking main characters.

They are both series about friendship, getting stronger and fighting in a tournament to become the number one team. There are great characters and some sort of "dark power" (although in Beyblade it's a little less obvious than in Vanguard).

Very similar in the nature of the competition styles and characters. Both are shonen sports animes.
report Recommended by ShadowBlazer3000
Both have similarities when it comes to friends, they have strong bonds, and both animes have a spirit in their weapon [beyblade , bakugun].

Both are toy-battling action anime.

Both children's shows featuring a quirky cast of young characters who battle with objects their monster companions inhabit. Both have strong themes of friendship and doing the right thing.

Bakugan was in essence a new generation rein-visioning of the original Beyblade series. Both feature a varied cast of kid heroes. Both have competitive battles that involve creatures sealed in objects , both series namesakes the Bakugan and Beyblade. Both have a wide range of monster designs. Both kids anime with similar tones and premise.

Both classic kids anime that involve young protagonists battling and competing in various tournaments and against evil powers using objects that harbour the spirits of sentient monsters. In Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's they battle with cards whereas Beyblade has it's own spin on spinning tops. With the duel runners introduced in 5D's both shows have heavy themes of speed. Both are made to look cool and hype you up in the same way. Both have iconic soundtracks, art styles, monster designs and character designs.

Both iconic children's anime that focus on young heroes and monster battling. Both shows monsters seem to be sentient spirits trapped in objects owned by the characters. Both shows have themes of morality and friendship.
report Recommended by JVskunkape
In both our heroes engage in battle alongside sentient monsters. In both these monsters are trapped within objects such as disks and re-imagined spinning tops. Human characters in the shows are of similar age. Similar themes of teamwork and friendship.

Both kids anime from the same era that mechanisms/objects that house the spirits of sentient monsters. Both have a wide variety of monster designs and robot/bey designs. Both involve child heroes who battle using these objects that are made of various parts which can be upgraded and swapped. Both feature competitive tournaments.

Both of these anime are extremely campy, but not in a bad way. They take the sport in their anime so seriously that one can die from it. If you liked one, you'll like the other. Also, watch Beyblade in sub because the dub track is really lackluster.

Beyblade and Arc-V are very similar in tone: they both have four creatures who are the main focus for the show (Arc-v is dimension dragon, beyblade is the sacred bit beast) both share woldbuilding, both show reality and have thier good and darker moments. one series is a card game ther other is spining tops. both have a mc who wields a dragon.

Most people have only watched the original beyblade. Burst is the newest one with a different plot m characters, and toy line. You will enjoy this if you liked the plot of the original. They are interesting just like metal series.

Both shows are about tournaments involving mental control of physical objects. Angelic Layer battles use dolls and Beyblade battles use a spinning top. Both shows involve elaborate battle stages.

Both kids monster battling anime. Both have main characters with similar demeanour and attitudes. Both show's monsters (spider's & bit beasts) appear extremely intelligent. Both have rocking OP's.

Both of these are mostly episodical anime build around a franchise of collectible items for children, as the anime plot gives those items some cool promotion with over the top dueling.

Rotating spins being a mean to mundane made awesome battles? Yeah, Infinity Nado is basically a Chinesse Beyblade.

Both super popular kids anime from larger franchise series. Both have flamboyant character designs with similarly energetic tones and plots. Both have monsters with varied and cool designs in their respective series. Yugioh Vrains using the monsters for the card designs and Beyblade using them for the souls of monsters inhabiting their beyblades. "Duel Monsters" and "Bit Beasts" respectively.

In both shows our heroes play a game competitively in which the monsters in the game are later shown to be sentient and communicate with our heroes. In both our human protagonists ally themselves with these monsters to battle against a variety of foes.

Odd that this the first recommendation for these series but: -Both children's anime. -Both shows have similar age characters. -Both shows have sentient monsters. -Both shows have their heroes battle alongside these monsters. -Both great and iconic shows from the same era with similar fandoms and franchises spawned.

Both kids monster battling anime that try in similar ways to appeal to the same demographic. Amping their fans up with similar tactics and appeal. Both have heavy/rebellious themed music. Headstrong uncompromising main characters & formidable monsters designed to look strong & cool.
report Recommended by JVskunkape
Both shows have their heroes ally with the spirits of monsters to battle against dark forces. In both stakes get out of control and our heroes end up in more danger than they bargained for. In both the heroes are competitive and want to be the best but are continually thrust against evil opponents.

Children's Anime based on toys/action figures.
report Recommended by AnimeFan500
Both are Tournament Toy Fighter series, where the characters customize toys to do battle in World Tournaments. Beyblade uses Battle Tops, while Gundam Build Fighters use Mech Models. Both were designed to sell products(ie: Very Long Commercials) but kept a consistent quality in story engagement to keep viewers interested. Don't expect amazingly deep stories from either, but do expect to have a fun ride with interesting characters, as long as you can keep in mind that both shows are aimed at kids.

While being more of a merchandise anime better compared to YuGioh, the first artwork/design/plot style of BeyBlade (especially the non-American dub) had strong similarities with the character elements of YYH initially. Without spoiling anything, the general gist of the 4 character team involves a head strong protagonist with a bluish special attack, a stoic fire wielder that was initially an antagonist and a smart MA guy one who uses plants and the other an animal but both have their past as leaders of a previous group. Only the 4th member in each group was different but they also have a similarity in that they are very original  read more

Both similarly popular iconic kids anime series. Both monster battling anime with great characters and world building. Both have great soundtracks, story & monster designs. Both part of wider franchises spanning many series, games, manga etc. with similar fan bases and target audience.

Both extremely well known kids monster battling anime. Both belong to larger franchises with multiple series. Both explore the concept of not only the monsters battling (once a standard in the genre) but also the human kid characters/heroes partaking in the battles as well themselves.

Both iconic kids shows which saw a similar boom in popularity around a similar time. Both feature almost entirely young kid characters. Both feature epic battles, competition as well as dark forces / evil enemies. Both feature a wide variety of monster designs. Both have memorable openings.

Both shows feature a young cast of characters and target the same demographic. They also have monsters that engage in battle with the main cast against the forces of evil. Fans of one are more than likely to enjoy the other.
