Both shows are somewhat darker, more serious takes on classic Tatsunoko shows from the '70s. They both deal with postmodern interpretations of the original shows' characters and stories, and update them for a new generation. They also both take place in similar, wasteland-like settings.

Coming from Yoru no Yatterman: A heartwarming potential "what if" of Leopard's hypothetical future, if given a few years to grow up, then went back into the world and fell in love. If you finished Yatterman nights, you know you need it and you deserve it. Coming from Koi wa Sekai Seifuku no Ato de: Just like Desumi, while Leopard is plagued by the trope-code and dress code of villainy, she is still fully humanized and 1000% a protagonist one can empathize with.

Fun, friendship, a pig, and a great addition to the long line of anime. Gurren Lagann is more story-centered while Yatterman Night is more about a strange adventure. Both are about rebelling against a tyrant.

Yatterman is basicaly about Team Rocket fighting a government of robots.

Both feature an eccentric loli with a just as eccentric anti-hero team trying to fight a bigger government. Sekai Seifuku is tons better, but both have their good points.
