These two CG series have a cast of three girls who are good friends, a very nonsensical sense of humor, and director and writer Souta Sugahara.

Three main mascot girls. Each episode is a parody. Video games for SeHa Girls; anime for Hacka Doll. Short episode lengths. Hacka Doll contains more ecchi.

Both anime are about gaming consoles personified as cute girls (SEGA consoles in personified, Playstation, Xbox and Wii in Choujigen Game Neptune). Both feature some sort of mahou-shoujo like transforming sequences. If you are a gamer, you´ll like them both.

In both series, video games are an important part of the story. There are also many references to real games.

Both anime have lots and lots and LOTS of SEGA cameos and references. You may find some enjoyment out of it if you're a diehard SEGA fan and just want to see stuff related to your favorite videogame company. SeHa Girls referenced the game that the show is based off in some episodes.

Both anime are SEGA series about a group of friends going on different adventures and is mostly episodic, especially for their first halves. They also take place in the same universe, as Sonic becomes an important character for an episode or two in SeHa Girls/SEGA Hard Girls.

Sega game characters personified. Sonic, Tails and much more. Console war between Sega and Nintendo ensues. Gamers who played such games will recognized them. Both series you will learn the history behind the game.

If you're a gamer you'll like this one too. It's based off a video game much like SeHa girls was based off SEGA consoles! It's about a group of friends solving mysterious murders using the power of personas!
