both main characters are stubborn, both involve battling and monsters.

Save the world from the forces of evil! Battle alongside amazing creatures, that can communicate with you, everyone gets their own! These spirits are within in-universe objects (beys/bakugans) that do the actual battling, which also happen to be super marketable toys!

They both not just using cards and battling monsters, these animes are also similar by that there is an another world which belongs to the monsters which are battling in the real world.

Both are aimed at a younger audience, and both have humans training/ battling with monsters.

Both have similarities when it comes to friends, they have strong bonds, and both animes have a spirit in their weapon [beyblade , bakugun].

Both smaller monster battling kids anime that tried to mimic the success of shows like Pokemon & Digimon. Both have human language speaking creatures. Both have competitive battles. Both have similar aged human characters.

at one point in bakugan there was virtual reality but not at the begening so both anime have virtual reality where poeple meet and play then later there are evil forces that trap then in the game so that they can never leave unless they solve the problem and find who caused it.

Both kids anime with monsters and battling using these monsters. Both have a young cast of characters and 2 worlds. Both have similar art styles and it's fair to assume the Yugioh franchise is partly what inspired Bakugan along with other similar classics like Beyblade, Digimon & Pokemon.

Kids anime that both market toys and target the same audience. Both feature a similarly aged cast in a larger than life conflict against dark powers, in order to combat their respective threats the hero's must use the in-universe equivalent of the real world toys in order to do battle.

Alien technology lets fans pit their little toy like objects in grandiose battles to prove their toys are the best. Bakugan and Build Fighters follow different plots but their premises are similar. Bakugan is comparatively serious with death of certain Bakugans, while Build Fighters is more engrossing despite being comparatively lighthearted.

Bakugan definitely tried to reinvent beyblades for a new generation. Both are kids shows that follow a cast of young heroes who battle each other with sentient monsters trapped in inanimate objects such as beys and bakugan. Both involve some form of launch of this device as well as competitive battles.

Human must team up with their partner(Z/X) in order to save the world from destruction. Both series involve six other faction/races which are defined by their color. They choose their owner and battle each other. Based on a card game. While Bakugan is known worldwide , Z/X is new and just beginning.

the main characters form a team and they are really similar in their personalities!! Ryu--Shun, Kyu--Dan, Megumi--Runo, Kazuma--Marucho. both teams want to become best in their activities (solving criminal cases and card-monster game) and to fight the evil.

Cardfight!! Vanguard is obviously another Card game Anime. Shounen series, many episodes, whole bunch of characters, for a young audience, full of fights, Bonds between friends and their cards/monsters, the English dub sucks, with a cute cast of females, too! And as shounen it may be, it's fit for both females and males to watch. The Protagonists however have many differences, but CF!!V does have Kai Toshiki who's similar to Shun in a few ways and give off a slightly similar vibe, what one would call a "Kuudere". If you like this, you'll like the other, just like Bakugan, CF!!V also has a real life version of the card  read more

A group of adolescents participate in at first glance a game made for children. However, the monster avatars actually originate from alternate dimensions. The red-clad main character attracts many to his party and is always ready for a fight. He is impulsive, but almost always guaranteed to win. As the series progresses, the plot involves not just the game, but a more dark secret.

Both niche kids anime with cult followings. Both have varied and unique monster designs. Both take heavy inspiration from more popular/mainstream monster kids anime such as Beyblade/Pokemon/Digimon etc.

If you liked this anime, then you might possibly like this other one, (Dragon Drive/Bakugan depending on where you are) Both animes are about some sort of battling with creatures, (all different sorts for Bakugan and Dragons in Dragon Drive) and starts out as a game but later on it's discovered that this so-called game is more than it appears.

Both kids anime that have sentient monsters that battle within objects that make up a competitive game/sport in their respective universes (beys & bakugans). Bakugan is clearly heavily influenced by beyblade, both shows have similar tones and premises.

Both kids monster anime. Both have their series' monsters spirits sealed inside objects such as the mystery disk and the Bakugan. Both have talking monsters who communicate with their human character counterparts.

Both extremely similar toy marketing children's anime series. Both have a large cast of young characters who form teams, battle against the forces of darkness and who have specific partners who battle alongside them.
