Love Live! School Idol Project 2nd Season

Both are second seasons of popular music-themed moe/CGDCT series that greatly improve on their rather formulaic first seasons. Love Live has a bit more drama and focus on music while K-On!! takes a slice of life approach.  

- Both anime involve music in the story, and the characters in both stories are students who attend an all-girls school - Both can make you laugh out loud and make you cry too - And also they create some good music for your playlist 

I feel that this anime is very similar to K-on. ( MUSIC + SPLICE OF LIFE) Concepts - A School Club that have trouble to be officially made as the club has not met the expected number of members. Friends of the Protagonist join the club and others as well and they get officially made as a club.They start off as a doubt and unpopular, but work together and have fun and soon become very popular at the school Genre - Both are about music, One being mainly about School Idols and singing and the other being about a Music band with Guitar,Bass,Drums,Singing..... Characters - Honoka (Love Live) & Yui (k-on) Both are clumsy and are lazy. Both very enjoyable - I would prefer K-on more that Love Live IMO, To me it seems to have better feelings read more 

Love Live! 2nd season focuses more on the idol group's growth than the first season does, making it more similar to Wake Up, Girls! Love Live!'s idol group competes with a rival group and the members push forward with the help of the other members - like they do in WUG. Love Live!'s 2nd season also focuses more on the music than WUG does. 

Both animes are about an idol group trying to reach their goal to become the Top Idol. Not only by working hard, but also by having fun together, getting along together and by uniting each person in the group to overcome the troubles ahead. Also both animes gives us some great musics/songs and dances to enjoy.
