Love Live! School Idol Project 2nd Season

Both deals with Idols (how they are formed, how they practice, what songs they come up with etc etc) only, Wake Up Girls is more realistic and they deal with really serious problems. The animation may not be on par with Love Live but its still worth watching because we get to know how idols really have it in the real world.
Love Live! 2nd season focuses more on the idol group's growth than the first season does, making it more similar to Wake Up, Girls!
Love Live!'s idol group competes with a rival group and the members push forward with the help of the other members - like they do in WUG.
Love Live!'s 2nd season also focuses more on the music than WUG does.
