They both have princesses who know how to fight. Both have similar art styles and some characters can relate. Though they have different storylines... they somewhat seem similar.

Both have female characters who do a lot of fighting, although otherwise they're pretty different. In Murder Princess unlike Shikabane Hime, she's the lead. If you're a girl watching this show just because it's nice having a strong female lead, you'll like Murder Princess, where the character's also a bit more interesting and colorful.

Both anime settings are the same the MC's on both series are princesses which hold great power. Well I ain't wanna spoil it but if you watch you'll know.

Both shows are overall cool fightings, with awesome and almost impossible random fightings, as if one fight ends, another come: packed with loads of action. Main characters are similar in some ways: Princess Alita is soft-spoken, shy and helpless, just like Cruz, but both have strong thinking abilities and both are inspired by their best teammate, Falis and Blade respectively. Additionally, both Falis and Blade LOVES fighting, but for a cause. Not only that, Murder Princess have the overall considerably gory and 'moe' attitude (without ecchi scenes) just like Needless, but the only wasted difference is that Murder Princess ends of too abruptly when compared  read more

The thing that is similar is that both the princess and Rikuo are naturaly soft. Even though on other circumates (Rikuo has another side of his personality and Arita switched her body with another person), they both become rather cocky and very skilled in combat.

Even though Murder Princess is based in a medieval type of period and Hellsing is based in present day england they still hold similar styles. The weapons of old time in Murder Princess are basically weapons that we use now or what they use in Hellsing. Though for the main characters one is a crazy vamipire and the other a girl who likes to fight they are similar in certain ways. Alita doesn't mind getting splattered in blood and sometimes it looks like she enjoys it. Both animes have a good amount of gore, violence, and good dose of Action. The story lines may  read more

Murder Princess is basically Akame ga Kill except it is shorter, includes royalty and has an amazing body switch between a bounty hunter and a princess. Although I liked Akame, Falis the bounty hunter seems to have a better attitude but they are still similar in character. Killing without mercy.

They both star female mercenaries who know how to wield their swords against creatures bigger, faster and stronger than themselves.

The secrets that is confined between both series is quite a bit reminiscent of each other. Granted, these secrets can truly be understood once one completed such long journeys.

If you are a fan of sword wielding female leads with strong personalities and pure badassery in combat, then look no further as this two shows contains the best of both worlds.

Both feature characters that normally shouldn't be mean and feisty, so they both have such parody approach. Dai Mahou Touge, evil mahou shoujo and Murder Princess, agressive mercenary girl in princess dress (and tiara).

The character designs {especially on the henchmen of the "murder princess" the skeleton and purple guy} and most of the Soul Eater world are very similar in design. I get the same fun halloween-y sort of vibe from them, although two very different series.

The main character is similar with looks with Arcueid as princess... they are both great fighters and Falis has same vampire eyes when she goes berserk as Arcueid when she is serious and uses some of her power... The style is similar too like TYPE-moons [my favorite artwork]. So I think u will like it, if u liked the main character. ^^

Though differing in their base concepts, Tensei Oujo being an isekai and Murder Princess being a high fantasy, it's not a stretch to compare the two. A blossoming relationship between two girls, subtle or overt, doesn't matter. Both these anime feature girls with contrasting personalities working together for a greater goal and a greater friendship.

Having a troubled princess with a tomboylish woman to save her - is what made the anime similar to each other.

Murder Princess is an action-packed that is so enthralling that you would want to watch it all in one go (which I did). Soukou no Strain was one of such animes for me but its more lengthy though (which wasn't a bad thing since like for Murder Princess I still want more and wish there were!).

Both series have strong, skilled female fighters. The art style is very similar, with a noted similarity mainly in the clothing design of Princess Alita (the main protagonist). Like Saber, Alita is also (to some extent) king (since she's the only ruler of her country).

In both the king is killed and the princess is ejected from the kingdom but the princess returns for revenge with some help from her friends.

Both have strong female leads but Murder princess is pretty much garbage in comparison to how awesome Black Lagoon is. They both deal in mature themes but Black Lagoon seems to have a much more realistic feeling to it (not to mention it doesn't have magic).

Both is about Princesses and battles and the story is good and I recommend both if you like Vampires, Werewolves, and Monsters
