-Both are about witches and magic. -Both are really vibrant. -The leads have a similar personality.

When I watched Majokko, I had a similar nostalgia feeling to that of "Spirited away", aka Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi. It's meant for a children audience, and also contains mystery, the supernatural, adventure, friendship abd even some adolescent feelings of love. But more importantly, both are tales of children wanting to save others, sacrifice and love. But in terms of maturity levels, I would say Majokko beats "Spirited away" hands down.

If you're looking for a fun series with a unique take on magic powers and a focus on the greatness of family and friendship, both of these have you covered. Yoyo and Nene have a lot more action than the laid-back Flying Witch, but both share a soft brand of comedy and gorgeous artwork throughout.

main characters and side kick in Magic Sisters movie resembles a lot to Abenobashi's ones, also lewd grandma appearance in both WTF! Story wise they differ but the style is the same as chaotic, using and trusting magic to resolve everything!

Two anime with grandiose storylines about witches saving the world from destruction. Tweeny Witches is an isekai and Magical Sisters Yoyo & Nene is a reverse isekai. Tweeny Witches has significant production problems (e.g., overuse of still images during dialogue scenes, lack of animation, storyline issues, etc) that will affect your enjoyment. Magical Sisters Yoyo & Nene has an engaging storyline with quality animation that has not received much attention despite coming from ufotable. If you enjoyed Tweeny Witches then you will love Magical Sisters Yoyo & Nene even more.

These anime movies feature witches whose jobs are fighting against supernatural creatures. Despite a similar premise, their stories are very different. Burn the Witch feels more like an introduction to a series, which some may consider a good thing. Magical Sisters Yoyo & Nene also has good worldbuilding, but continues to feel like a movie. If you're looking for more anime with witches rather than magical girls then this recommendation is for you.

-Both movies feature children as the main characters. -Both involve the encounter of two different worlds. -Both main characters have the mission to return to their respective world. -Both are very entertaining to watch and their visuals are both very colorful.

When it comes to magic, anime have invented and perfected the archetype of the magical girl. It is always refreshing to watch an anime about witches rather than magical girls. Mary and the Witch's Flower has beautiful animation, character designs, and a fairy tale that are comparable to the Ghibli canon. Magical Sisters Yoyo & Nene has an equally engaging story with quality animation. As all-ages movies, you should expect easy to understand themes and family friendly entertainment.
