These two series feature a pair of classmates that originally had nothing to do with one another, but become involved outside of school and form a relationship.

1- Both couples has two Character.. one at school, one at home.. and no one know about it.. or in another word: they are hiding their true selves.. 2- The comedy, romance, peaceful style. with some little problems they help each other on it.. 3- The story is Better than the Art.. 4- The girl is kind of strong, tsundere. and the boy is calm, shy, and cool.

Both have the MC that they were always left alone for some circumstances (gloomy and dark) and then he/she starts to get new friends.

Both are school slice of life romantic anime with great characters discovering what love is and how relationships work. I find the mood very similar in the two anime. Differences: Tsurezure Children consists of shorts and has many couples, while Hori-san to Miyamura-kun is a short series of OVA with full-length episodes focusing on one pair.

"One Week Friends" / "Isshuukan Friends." and "Hori-san to Miyamura-kun" are quaint slice-of-life short series with some romance dashed in. They both surround a boy and a girl who were formerly strangers slowly getting to know each other well. Both series are relatively light-hearted and share a similar art style, especially in terms of the watercolour-esque background art. Furthermore, much of the character dynamic between the two lead characters of each respective anime with the side characters are also similar.

Boy meets girl, girl meets boy. Girl: I thought he's that type of guy in school. I was wrong. Boy: I never knew the other side of this girl. Character awkwardness, shyness, development, background stories included! Worth Recommend.

Comedic yet laid back, similar art styles, and focused on character growth without much in the way of annoying slapstick. A real treat.
