"One Week Friends" / "Isshuukan Friends." and "Hori-san to Miyamura-kun" are quaint slice-of-life short series with some romance dashed in. They both surround a boy and a girl who were formerly strangers slowly getting to know each other well.
Both series are relatively light-hearted and share a similar art style, especially in terms of the watercolour-esque background art. Furthermore, much of the character dynamic between the two lead characters of each respective anime with the side characters are also similar.
